I just discovered a exhibition GAA game was played in Neath in 1949 Irish XV v English XV. Know its a long time ago but anyone any information on this. Who played, Who organised it, Who picked the teams. Who won was it ever played again.

I'll bet you that all the English XV were entitled to Irish passports

There were lots of those games at the time, a lot of them involved irish teams touring America and playing American teams too. Not sure about the details of this one though.

it would be at a time when if a player went to england that would be the last you'd see of him, so the England team could have some great players on it
