Started a French show called The Bureau. It is about the French secret service and it is excellent so far. It's been mentioned in here a few times over the years I think.

Up there with the wire as the best TV show I've ever seen

Those 2 would be right up there for me also. Incredible shows.

The Wire and The West Wing my top two. What channel is this other show on? Is it subtitled? Don't think I could talk the wife into a subtitled show tbh.

Prisoner 951 on iPlayer. Dramatisation of the arrest and detention of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. Harrowing.

Just spent a very relaxing  hour in front of the fire watching  Canal Boat Diaries on Yesterday.

Great little show.  A great way to unwind.

Completely agree also Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing is the most relaxing programme two mates fishing talking bollocks - love it.

Season 2 of Landman is good so far.
Mayor of Kingstown too - though your man Renner is starting to annoy me a bit.

Yeah - I thought they were pretty good. Didn't notice the long run time when watching them either.

The age of the main characters compared to their actors is a problem now though.

Would agreed with you there
3rded. Just finished it last night. 2 good main actors - she has been great at playing someone at her wits end since her Homeland days and he was a good psycho.

The plots tired and they are scared to kill off the "stars". Maybe they will in remaining episodes. Some great set pieces but it is painfully derivative with so much bad dialogue. The wine mom [prob the dad too] had to die, but they chickened out. For half a $billion could be a lot better.
