Deserved win for Roscommon. Down brought a lot of dirt to the game & therefore finished with 13 men late on.

Rudi

Keeper playing as a sweeper punished.

They could've had 4 red cars.  Two lads at the end very lucky.  They made a bit of a show of themselves when it was slipping away.  Roscommon won one hell of a lot of scrappy ball and deserved their win. Down were impressive in Ulster but they couldn't get it going today.

If one more had gotten the line we'd see the Dirrty Down Dozen Defeated headline tomorrow!

Might have to settle for the Bakers dozen headline.

Well done Roscommon. Stuck at it and got the result. Down poor in front of the posts cost them. Unfair to suggest it was a dirty game. Yes it got that way when the game had gone from Down. But a lot of good players on both sides hopefully both will be up there in senior in not too distant future.

The better and more skilful team won out well done to Roscommon. Makes for a very interesting All-Ireland final against neighbours Offaly.

Hound

The Down 22 gave a very nasty finger in the eye to the Roscommon 12 at the end. Then did the same to the Roscommon 14. An absolute sc**bag.
Watched it back again, and it was clear it was deliberate eye pokes

Should be getting a long suspension for that carry on.

22 lost the plot, attacked at least 2 players at the end. He should have seen red for either. Some guts and fight from Ros to get in front and fully deserved the win.

Home at last🍻🍺
Pulled that one out of the fire with a great last 10 (+10) minutes.
Nerve wracking but lads stood up to be counted when it mattered.
Disappointed that a proud football County like Down went nasty in the closing stages.
Shades of Mr Nasty from Meath among their "roghnóirí"?
The well rested Biffos next in Croker depending on  Tyrone Covid.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Sligo v Meath....probably Breffni
Cork v Ulster Champs.... probably Tullamore.

It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016
