Quote from: Milltown Row2 on Today at 07:24:33 AMBut was it a case of that unplanned meeting of Ron Nicole and OJ that sparked the madness?

Both could still be alive if Ron had not just 'turned' up and OJ could have just had words with her and left?

Or was he intent on killing her that night regardless?

According to the ESPN documentary, Goldman walked in as OJ was killing her or immediately after.

That's just rotten luck, wrong place wrong time!

Quote from: Christmas Lights on Today at 12:14:15 AMAre St Galls back? 5 from 5. Best start in a long time surely?

Leagues form and championship form are two different animals

I'm just glad we look like not being relegated

St Galls have obviously been rebuilding for a while now but it looks like there is a crop of quality young players on the verge of coming through now. Would expect them to kick on now compared to recent years

Lol Big Gallagher will be glad to know he's still part of the quality young players

Quote from: gawa316 on April 24, 2024, 11:00:46 PMPerformances over the last month or so have resembled a lot of last season

Liverpool need a really strong character like Big Ange TBH.

It's a pressure position with roaring expectation and a few results going awry early doors could impact most managers, bit Ange seems to take most things in his stride, similar to Klopp.

With the departure of Klopp and what usually follows when such a big manager leaves, there won't be too many that will want to take the reigns too early.

Will any players see this as an opportunity to move on? The success of Jude at Real Madrid can certainly give players like Trent a taste of other challenges and improve him further

Quote from: tbrick18 on April 24, 2024, 08:25:27 PMOnly thing for sure is that there are no winners, but hopefully justice is service.

As I said before, it is hard to see how you can prove something 20 years ago beyond reasonable doubt, I doubt there were witnesses other than his wife.

Hearing other cases the PPS didn't prosecute due unlikelihood of conviction even when there is evidence, they must feel there's a high chance of conviction based on what ever evidence they have. No?

I've no idea myself - I'm doing a lot of reading between the lines and may well be getting it wrong.

Today was the 1st appearance. I'd be shocked if the PPS even have the full file yet let alone have made a decision. It would be unusual for them to have the full file yet particularly if the allegations only surfaced in March.

However, at present this case seems different from teachers, coaches etc where there are multiple people to come forward. But you never know.

Are there not two people involved in this?
yes

Then it shouldn't fall down to a he said she said scenario?

Been plenty of legacy cases were people have been found guilty, but I'd worry on how they will throw together a set of jurors for this shambles

Quote from: Itchy on April 24, 2024, 10:24:41 AMI dont think Mickey Harte will be too upset that Derry are out of the Ulster. They have the medals from the last 2 years in their pockets. Its all about SAM for them now. They get a nice 4 week break to get themselves ready. I would not be writing them off at all.

From a Derry perspective I don't think its a massive deal to give up an Ulster title if it means that they can regroup and prepare for a tilt at Sam Maguire. But Mickey Harte will definitely be disappointed on a personal level, after all he is there not for any great love of Derry but for personal achievement, the financial package and his legacy. They will be the team that every provincial winner will want to avoid in the group stages.

As for the Glass debate, watching the match on the TV doesn't actually do him justice in terms of performance. His positional play is second to none and he does a lot of off the ball work that is not the most glamorous to watch but is highly effective for his team. Plus he can play football when needed to as well. He is definitely not a moments player as someone suggested earlier, in fact anything but.
Agree with that, the defensive work he does, covering ground and space is immense, a total team player, he does whatever he thinks will help the team achieve the results. Regularly sacrifices his own game for the good of the game.
Rodgers is an excellent footballer too, but brings something entirely different.
All that said, I'm sure both will admit, Saturday was neither's finest hour!

I'm not saying teams would throw a match so that the timing of their training is to peak for the latter stages.

But I remember a team (some time back) having a peculiar heavy set of training sessions leading up to a championship match, in the game they were very heavy legged, but cone back door, they were in better shape, hit peak condition when it mattered

Biggest victory since the 1995 FA Cup?

I think they'd a few last day escapes in the interim, so not quite that high on their honour roll. :D

Administration may still be looming according to Miguel Delaney today.

After tonight's results I'd say they'd be happy to drop a division or two

I hate when sky have either Neville or Carragher on co comms for their respective teams.

Lee Dixon remains the worst.

Clinton Morrison is the worst commentator and worst pundit in history, in any sport.

A vuvuzela waving, Tourette's suffering Inuit in the process of childbirth, would deliver an improved aural experience.

Got to agree with that

Hmmm

Halfwit, rich coming from someone who doesn't have a clue what then GP's are doing then goes on complaining about them, by your own words, not having a clue what they do.

Quote from: Tones on April 24, 2024, 11:02:49 AMA man who openly abuses a broken system to skip the queue tries to be a smart arse, you couldn't make it up.

Says the man that makes up illnesses to get seen and wonders why the system is broken, also thinks the doctors sit about all day doing nowt.

Your a very angry lad. You'll end up with stress

I changed symptoms didn't mention chest pain, unfortunately don't gym with my surgery's receptionist so couldn't skip the queue with a quick text and block some other poor unfortunate out.

You're a liar, and not a very good one

"I had similar issue about a year later and made up symptoms to see a GP as if I had of mentioned chest pain they wouldn't have seen me, how ridiculous is that"

Then went on to say
"My issue included chest pain which was present for over 6 weeks, this I explained to the receptionist who rang me  back and said go to A&E"

So did you mention chest pain or not?

A man who openly abuses the system isn't taking being called out too well, ill be very clear I rang mentioned chest pain told to go to A&E, when I rang a year later I give the symptoms without mentioning chest pain and when I saw the doctor then mentioned oh and I have chest pain to - that clear enough for you.  You don't have to do anything wee text to your gym buddy to skip the queue and to hell with anyone else.

Clear as mud

Your full of shit, caught out and still going on about he gym! I'm here all day for the craic lad, any more spoofs?

Caught out!! You obviously can't read just send texts what is it - R U able to get me an appointment 2day, fit me is around 2?

Openly makes things up at the surgery, you need to stop smoking, that will sort your chest pain out. That diagnoses is free
