Whats sad tho is that there has been many similar cases recently even in Ireland. Just about a month ago didnt a woman kill herself and her kids somewhere in the West. I almost makes me sick to read about it. What drives people to it, I wouldnt even like to imagine. Drug use and stress might be the cause of these things. Perhaps the demands we put on ourslves is too much in modern society. i dont think there was as much pressure on people in the good old days.

Ive had the pleasure of sitting beside a few scumbags in the last few years in Croker. Both from Dublin and my own County. During the Dublin-Mayo game from last year,(I was there to watch the Meath-Roscommon minor game if your wondering), there was a bunch of balding-fat assholes in blue sitting behind us who were insisting on making sheep noises when the Mayo players came out, and suggested that they were trying to "arse-rape" their Dublin opponents rather than tackle. Sadly we had to sit and listen to their brainless drivel until Ciaran MacDonald shut them up with the winning point and they decided to feck off out of the stadium much to everyones relief.

In the Meath-Louth game last season there was one of our own supporters who let the side down badly, with his loud cursing and saying things about the Louth players being scumbags and calling out for one of the meath players to break thier f**king jaw. And this was every minute of the game, he was a bit pissed, and couldnt tell if Trevor Giles was still playing or not.

Personally I'd never boo anyone, I understand the effort and commitment that the players make. When Mark Vaughn kicked over the sideline ball, i actually found myself applauding, and always make a point of shaking hands and wishing well any opposing supporters near me. Not blowing my trumpet here, I think alot of GAA fans are like that, but there sadly is a growing amount of people who are ruining the athmosphere of GAA matches, and if they want to carry on like that they can feck off to a soccer game where that crap is acceptable.

think that comment is highly inappropriate laoislad and should be removed.

I was going to make a similar comment but Laoislad beat me to it, I thought it was funny.

Reckon we can win this one, if Coyler can instill the right attitude for the Qualifiers and get the lads believing that they can still achieve something. We dont have any injury worries going into it, I would definately have Brian Farrell in from the start this time. The core of this Meath team is its strenght and I think thats where the winning of it is. Should win midfield, and Moyles and Bray providing the hard work with Gerathy and Farrell doing the scoring.

heard mention of a heart condition in regards to Paul Finlay when listening to RTE radio. maybe i heard wrong, dont mean to alarm people in the wrong.

Away Vs Down. This ill be a tricky one. The biggest thing is to get the lads believing in the qualifiier route and get them motivated for this one.

The smell of John Player Blues always remind me of being in the old Croke Park.

I dont think we'll see Sean Og O'hAilpin advertising a cure for Dry Cow Mastitous(check spelling) or anyone for that matter anymore.

Carney is an awful commentator, hasnt a clue what he's on about. Galway doing enough to win this even not at their best. too many dangrous forwards.

Dont get me wrong I wish him all the best, and I know he's a special talent but to think he's arrived and within a year hes turned a whole league on its head seems to be over-stating the case. Im sure he'll do well all the same

Gonna start playing with Roger Casements in Coventry in the next week or so.

By reading the comments on the BigFooty board they're treating him like and I quote "a messiah". I find it hard to credit. Its almost as bad as the hype Mark Vaughn is getting  ;)

I think Meath players and fans should be optimistic going into the qualifiers, I think a Q/Final is easily within reach and we can achieve it with the right attitude.

I think Cian Ward deserves a bit more time on field, Joe Sheriden just seems very slow, the only thing would be for us to kick high ball into him, but if he cant win that, then whats he good for?

Farrell is a definate starter.

Not sure if Moyles would be big enough for midfield. I'd rather have to taller, stronger lads there.
