Got both vaccines but won't be in a rush to get a booster - know a few people who haven't been right since getting them

Just about to ask the same question as a few have.

What does this mean?

This is the type of information that people with any doubts run with so eager to hear how a few people havent been right since

I have a relation that shortly after getting vaccinated (3 months ago) developed a bad enough cough and they still can't get rid of it. Maybe that's the sort of thing?

Is the cough related to the vaccine?

They seem to think so.

Do they smoke?

Gets worse....

https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/health/unvaccinated-mother-and-daughter-die-within-days-of-each-other-from-covid-19-in-same-hospital-ward-40856306.html

Surely these kinds of stories will be a catalyst for a percentage of anti-vaxers to wise up?

nope, they'll declare it's all lies, never happened, its made up, these people never existed or some other shit like that

Even more problematic in this case was that they both worked in Social Care, so they were in and out of the houses of some of the most vulnerable people in society as well as being unvaccinated. You couldn't write it at times.

In England the Care home owners/or home care workers will not employ anyone who hasn't been vaccinated, so anyone in employment with these groups must be vaccinated, one owner on the radio this morning was reluctant to let go of staff who'll not get the vaccine.

Their problem is they can't get enough staff as it is, there's a massive shortage. They should all be vaccinated but it seems a lot more care home workers aren't so how do you replace them if they become unemployable. It's a big problem

10% havent been vaccinated I think the total was today, improve their wages and that 10% will be filled

Met a guy the other day, early 80ís, caught Covid, was in intensive care for 8 days touch and go ventilators the heap, got through that and was in hospital for a month afterwards. I asked was this at the start of the pandemic? No it was 2 months ago, I asked him had he been vaccinated, no and there was no way heíd be vaccinated!! He said the lord got him through with prayer and he may have a plan for him, heís 83!, I ask was there many in ICU at the time, 8 around him and four died.

I turned to him and said god must not have been listening to their prayers!

Total dickhead

You lose the ball then go at the ball like that is just stupidlyÖ. Be lucky to come away with a draw the way this team is playing

McShane has a strong argument to be in ahead of him.
He has in his hoop. McShane carries threat but touching that ball in (and he should never have been allowed to, it was a terrible goalkeeping mistake) was his only contribution in the final, he was desperate otherwise. I'd have about six or eight forwards at least ahead of him in the queue for an All-Star.

Skill wise at the minute he's been limited but his contributions in both games have been massive, do you win an All star based on that?

Parents of 3rd level students in Limerick paying 390 euro a week for hotel accommodation for their kids. What if you had 3 kids in college at once. Jaysus 1 would be bad. What is our political system / public servants at?

Why hotel accommodation? Is there no Halls? We paid £500 a month for expensive enough halls for the first year, down to £260 now that she's staying with friend in a student house, I'll have a year of paying for two soon, which isn't great  :o

Thatís the whole WTF elementÖ.there actually is a massive shortage of halls or general accommodation. I listened to the radio the other day and they were saying in some Halls around the country they are paying between Ä250 and Ä300 a week!  I know in Belfast my eldest had real hassle getting a place this year, fell on his feet at the very last minute but some of the places he looked at were disgraceful. He pays £320 a month off the Ormeau road but has a really good spot. Mad how expensive itís has become

That's expensive still, that's not Hall's BC1? My daughter has a 5 bedroom, she's got ensuite and its in Wesley Avenue, so very handy

Dunloy & Cushendall finished level on points in their group, drew head to head - Dunloy progressed to semis on better score differential

But if and Iím not sure if itís being played or not, if the other team concedes how is it fair on the team that may have a chance?

Did the first poster not say it would be a playoff game if and when Carey beat GNM ? Thatís whatís confusing me

Not sure but yes head to head first then score difference is used, providing obviously all games are played. Should be an automatic score (letís say 20 points) given for a conceded game
