The money men couldn't afford for sevco to go bust again. If rangers fail, Celtic make less money ala 2012-2016. Sevco in so much debt this year, that if they don't qualify for champions league, they are gone again. Money men made a decision to effectively forfeit the league to keep sevco alive. 10 in a row would be great for the support, but money men don't care about that. Lennon is just the fall guy.

Anybody bought a ticket for the edendork v galbally stream and not received the password by email? Paid for the game an hour ago and haven't received the password as yet.

Sure Rouse is an outside man now. Last team he played with was Moy!

Killyclogher ??

Hopefully, but Saturday's game is a 50:50 call. Lots of injuries won't help us either.

Dromore justified their favourite tag for the championship yesterday. Look to be peaking at the best time. Who is gonna stop them?

Maybe your comprehension skills are poor but I've actually agreed that Cavanagh does it a lot in the very first few words in my previous post. He has had to grow wise to winning frees throughout his career as he takes an awful lot of illegal interference when he carries the ball.

You are right and we are all wrong, we had forgotten that the players should have parted to allow Cavanagh to carry on unimpeded.  How dare anyone attempt to tackle or hinder him.

Catch yourself on, Cavanagh was driving through and he always had two options, break the tackles and score/hand off for a score or get a free and score (see Aidan O'Shea).  He opted as he has frequently done when unable to break the tackle and tried to fool the officials by pulling the tackler down on top of himself.  Lucky not to get his marching orders at this stage for this offence.

Cavanagh was frustrated on Saturday by his own inability to master his marker and get into the game, fair play to Keegan, he did his job and better, he outscored Cavanagh. It's sad for Cavanagh but that's how sport goes, you get older and your powers wane, what was possible before becomes much more difficult now and also they change the rules to get you.

O'Rourke could get away with his punches in the days when the game was savage and often brutal, when being sent off was no bother, it was a badge of honour, and officials turned a blind eye, no media interference to worry about.  It was a world away from today's sanitised game where goading specific opposition players to their breaking point is planned and orchestrated as a team tactic.

Who actually instigated the half time wrestling match? I wasnt at the match, but heard from someone there, that it was actually Sean Cavanagh that shouldered into Keegan to start the messing at half time. Did anyone else see what actually happened?

Gutted following the weekend - I hope we learn from this.  Brutal stuff to watch all the same and this system is sucking the life out of so many good footballers.  My problem is why do we have to resort to it. Are we protecting our fullback line, can we not produce forwards in Tyrone?  Why do we play a system where we have 3 half backs playing in our half forward line.  We almost beat Kerry last year playing with 2 forwards up yet this year we resort to playing with 1 up!!  Couldn't help but think how useful the likes of a Kyle Coney could have been yesterday - as man that can kick a point.
I seen Kyle Coney playing up in Killyclogher last Sunday ; he's either injured or else the football has left him . Desperate to think that he was as good as Matty Donnelly, Pety Harte and Aiden O Se! He's living of the 2008 name at minor level and unlike the above men hadn't in it in him to better himself for a life at Senior level . He would have probably won the game for us on Saturday as he has an abundance of talent just like another wasted talent Dan Mc Nulty . It's going to be hard to replace big strong men like the mcmahons and Sean Cavanagh . I thought Richy Donnelly would have been an option going on his club performances for Trillick and a good NL campaign. However this is all just an opinion and don't castigate me for stating an opinion ! As regards Mickey Harte he's a genius for getting us to this level with this bunch of players.I ll finish my rant with a good one. Several years ago in Riscommon at a qualifier game I heard a man say he would nt go to another tyrone game if Colm Cavanagh was playing; this individual has now made peace with himself and boldly states he won't go near another Tyrone game unless Colly is on !

Kyle might not have played that well, but he scored 3 great points from play and a free kick from the sideline close to the 13m line. Not a bad return. Couldnt understand why he wasnt hitting all Ardboes left footed free kicks, especially from distance.

Some result today for Galbally away to carrickmore. Still think carrickmore will be difficult, come championship time. Are they missing players at the moment?

By the way, did all the Tyrone players come through the games today injury free?

Are reserve players not entitled to the holiday break aswell???

Sorry, I meant to play it from last week in July over the month of August. Given Tyrones progression, there is unlikely to be many senior games.
