its the season of daftness so have them together!! Its amazing how kids get hung up on them.... My 16 year old daughter would blast out one conspiracy after another!! internet has a lot to answer for or Youtubers (i think thats what they are called)

A lot of cultures have myths about people who will reappear and lead the people to greatness. Some Portuguese king, Frederick Barbarossa, the 12th Shia imam. I think conspiracy beliefs are related. People find it hard to believe in incompetence.
