Was it just the 3 called up? Ciaran Mc Laughlin, brendan burns and michael mc kernan?

makes sense to me, its not forwards is our problem, it is a system that is built on protection full backs who are not good man markers, or good when isolated one to one, which restricts our ability to play a more offensive minded way. getting better defenders to an absolute priority to developing a more offensive game.
I would agree with that yes, all 3 are better players than aidan mc crory.. however like many others I believe Mc Crory's club location within Tyrone helps his case in starting every game! That debate is for another day though....

That debate has been happening for a while now. Where ye been??
I'm well aware off it..I'll let it sit until the season starts before ridiculing the decision though  ::)

Give 2 players to watch out for Tyrone 95
Tricky question but for the u16 side we have a few good talents. Daniel Fullerton looks to be one to keep an eye on showing himself well to date and as the main marksman.. and with the u17s/minors this year cormac munroe captaining the u17 all Ireland winning side would be the other obvious choice

Great win for our u16 team last night in Dromore to win the Grade 1 championship - played in auful conditions. Underage football in our club has been given huge time and effort this last 4/5 years - here's hoping this can develop to senior level in the near future. It was mentioned last night that across both codes/ladies and mens- carmen has seen 20 underage titles grace the steps of Quinn's corner!

I never heard Dinkys name but the other 3 are in. I am genuinely surprised by this and someone somewhere has a bit of a power of persuasion. Raymond would put passion in a nun and the other two are smart guys. I dont imagine a coach would be required in that set up
Probably not, I imagined Raymond done most of the coaching himself wherever he has been!

Raymond will hardly go back to that

What you mean by that? I think you could be in for a surprise?
Excellent appointments in my opinion. Ray munroe, ronan mcgarrity and peter loughran and dinky staying as coach? Am I right in saying that?  just heard them names today! I think these men will know exactly what is needed to breed the youth into the senior setup..perhaps knowing that it may not be an immediate fix in 1 or 2 years!! Planning towards the future is now critical!

who would be likely to replace peter donnelly if he is gone?
Mickey might do the S&C himself. At least he'll be offering some value for money at that
are you saying peter donnelly wasnt value for money?
I'm not, my point was that Micky could be of more use at S&C than he will be on the line for another 3 years

Not sure, he is a proven winner but already has had 2 spells with us..

The question that should be asked are you ready to win the championship before you consider Dom
Correct, based on last years performaces it is clearly no.

Just on a side note, seamus Mc callan has stepped down as carrickmore manager for the forthcoming season.. Never was going to be an easy job for seamus as he has a lot of commitments but a true Carmen gael and will be pushing the club on in any way possible to help track down county title no.16....... it will be interesting to see who becomes available for next season

Although I think it would be great for Carmen to host the final with regards to atmosphere etc I would have my fears also with the size of the crowd easily another 2000 extra from what was there yesterday. I would also be fearful of playing 4 games in 7 days on the pitch (JFC,IFC,SFC) and the rumoured u21 final with is taking place before the Senior final...time will tell but I would imagine the co.board will end up going with Healy...

Maybe I have missed something but what is the reason that Healy park can't hold tomorrow's game as well??

Majorly disappointed with this evenings result, people had us written off but only for the sending off with 10 mins to go for benny Mc laughlin I think we could have gone on to win it...Fair play to errigal tho looked very fit in the latter stages and that proved the difference with vital scores and kept us at arms length with 10 to go.
