Very few come out this saga looking well including but not limited to successive GAA presidents, Ulster Council, the Casement residents and Sinn Fein.

Why Sinn Fein didn't take Communities when Stormont was restored is beyond me. The GAA and Irish language are getting an absolute kicking and there's nothing SF can do about it.

The Monaghan fella that got the hit from the louth player suffered a broken jaw. He played on for 50 minutes too 

Mental! And people trying to claim it wasn't a red card as well. Wooly has a video on twitter saying "he's not off his feet" then it cuts to a video of the Louth man off his feet with his shoulder on the jaw!

We have a great team for the game as it was 3 years ago but we aren't even close to having the right set up for the current game.

1. We don't have a goalkeeper good enough at short to medium range kickouts (also don't seem to have a system to get men free either)

2. We don't have enough big men out the field to win 50/50 ball. You need 3/4 monsters for this and Glass/Higgins/Rogers/CD are good players but in terms of size they just aren't big enough to compete at the top level.

3. We currently have 1 scoring forward in Murray, we need Shane and Loughlin or some new blood to step up with 5-6 points a game or we're goosed. Are there any other men in the county who could contribute here? I think there are.

Outside of the 4 big men and 2-3 forwards you need we have the players capable of competing. The new rules have shown up our lack of ability at GK/MF and up front but we have maybe 10-12 decent footballers who could thrive if the team was set up right I'm just not sure where we get the GK size in MF and forwards from!!

Don't think that was a goal scoring opportunity but Galway paying the price for having a keeper with a poor kickout!

Some difference in the pace of the 2 games very slow and methodical here!

That was brilliant possibly one of the best games I've ever watched phenomenal!

Monaghan will be absolutely sick they could and should have won that but Louth just kept winning the ball in the middle of the field!

Then Mc Carthy climbs all over the Louth player and he gives a hop ball.  Then he proceeds to throw the throw up straight to the Monaghan player.

Slow mo of red is better angle and looks less malicious. Most refs would have given yellow/black for blocking runner.

No way he jumped into the tackle and his shoulder hit him on the head it's nailed on!
