Those f**king stupid lists drive me insane. Any aul gobshite can write up a list ffs. Years back the Indo used to be decent. Since Breheny has been there it's gone really downhill. He's laughably bad

Making lists is scraping the barrel in journalism.
When was the Indo ever any good at GAA coverage?

thewobbler

Things anyone can do to help them re-embrace the GAA.

1. Don't read the Indo.
2. Don't read the Sunday Indo.
3. Accept that Pat Spillane is a pantomime character and means no harm.
4. Get involved with your local club, especially from July to December.
5. Don't read lists about the GAA.

Your list should be in reverse order.

I don't understand this topic. If I go into a Restaurant and they don't have a menu that suits me - I don't go there again.

Besides the GAA coverage, Who in their right mind would buy a paper that has bias political agendas.

Rossfan

People who agree with with their "bias political agendas"?

Fair enough! We all read what we want to read.

Every paper has a political bias.

Bear in mind when making personalised criticisms of particular reporters that their names are on the articles whereas we don't post under our real names here.

And you also have to bear in mind that those (professional) Reporters are often making criticisms of Amateur players. There is a circle of responsibility.

The key distinction, which makes this point irrelevant is that those particular reporters get paid a wage to put their name on the articles

The Boy Wonder

Yes, these reporters earn their living as sports journalists. All the more reason why they should not be subjected to personalised UNFAIR criticism from anonymous sources. Mud sticks and such criticism can be very damaging to their reputation. How can they defend themselves in these situations ?

If people feel strongly enough let them write/email a letter to the editor - name and address must be provided but one can request that it not be published.
