Would Ballygalget be the Cloughey area between portaferry and portavogie? Doesnt seem too built uo of an area population wise. Would Ballygalget be a more rural club?

JC a kind of related but also unrelated question... What club do Kircubben represent? Driving through there at the weekend and saw a load of hurls. I didn't think it would be a hurling stronghold.
The GAA really stood up during this pandemic (at a local level) in terms of loads of GAA clubs delivering stuff to vulnerable people etc and like you say run plenty of community initiatives.

Antrim having to travel to Waterford for a playoff game on a Sunday at 12.15 during a pandemic when last year Waterford refused to travel to Antrim for a league game and the game had to be played in Dundalk because of Covid concerns about the North .

There is a sense of identity you get with the GAA which you don't get with soccer. It's part of parish, who you are etc. Flying tricolours / playing national anthems has nothing to do with this.

12.15 throw in. Are teams allowed to travel the night before the game and stay over? Otherwise that is a disgraceful time to have it after that journey.

Is the Howe thing actually happening and if so why has it not been done before now considering he is available?
Is he waiting on one of the premiership jobs? He would be a good fit for the CP job when you consider it.
Apparently he's been waiting for Bournemouth backroom staff and their involvement in the playoffs has been the reason why that has been delayed.
The media seem fairly certain he will be appointed this week.
Not anymore . . .

Family have a farm, never been involved in lamping but I understand why farmers would do it when the foxes start lifting lambs. Locally there used to be a fella who basically did the farmers job for them. Not sure if still in action.

South of Ireland in the longest lockdown in Europe, minimal figures (comparatively).....to be fair not really much of it about anyway.
Meanwhile India that was in flames just a week ago easing lockdown. These lads are having a laugh.

Those would be my thoughts. Something is definitely not right but tbh I would have my doubts on the loyalist thing. I just don't see why but it's like anything and is just opinion and speculation. It is beginning to look like that is all there will ever be is opinion and speculation.

To paraphrase....a well known violent drug addicted criminal is able to walk the streets who may have possibly assaulted her son, she got a funny look from a fella on Botanic avenue with her friend, turns out it was him.
