Have a gut feeling that London might sneak this. They are very hard to beat over there. One thing standing them is that they have a pretty settled squad for the first time in ages. No chopping and changing.

Agree totally

Biggest joke of the lot is the game on a Tuesday night.  Are the County Board / Senior Team willing to pay men to take time of work and travel to games?

Had serious hassle finding the Leappad - gave up and bought the Leapfrog Explorer instead

Got an email yesterday to say that the Leappad was back in so I bought it also.  From reading up on it, I think the Leappad is best of the lot - though everyone will have their own ideas.  Will left you know in the New Year as to how the LeapPad gets on

During the week, we would have small enough number, but at the weekend, we would be in the mid 20's, which is good for a rural club.

On a side note, what it the standard with other counties in relation to championship.
We have a player, whose father sadly passed away this week.  The funeral is on Sunday. We requested that the game be called off, but were told by the CB that this would not be accepted as our game is on the saturday.  Is this normal?

Anyone from the republic make a donation on this yet? I can't get past the UK Postcode field, even though I put in a manual address. It won't allow me leave it blank, put in NA or 00000 which is my usual response on those fields?

Hi, this has been raised and they are looking into it as we speak.  Should know something later today.

Aidy, I think you should start a new thread with just a few sentences explaining the background and include the link above and ask the mods to make it a sticky. Otherwise it'll slip off the first page and lots of people won't see it. If people see it and don't wish to donate money that's fine, but it would be an awful shame if people that would otherwise donate money were not aware of the details. Lord knows the family will need all the help they can get.

Cheers Jinxy - will chat to the mods about this
