Their Navy GONE

Their air force GONE

Total victory for Team USA!

Victory declared at least ten times...

Then came the 48 hour warning to Iran. Then 6 days that was extended to 10 days.

Now the Oompa Loompa is threatening to bomb desalination plants and oil wells. Bluffing moron has no idea who he is trying to bluff. Winning!

Meanwhile Iran calmly wrecks 6+ supertankers and an irreplacable AWACS plane that is one of only 16 in existence[700 million USD to replace] stationed at a Saudi base.

Iran have went from launching 400+ missiles per day at the start of March to about 10 a day now. Their missile launch centres have been decimated. 30 or 40 of their senior government officials have been killed including the big cheese himself.
Trump spouting incoherent nonsense does not discredit these facts.
The only "weapon" they have now is the price of oil.

Blah blah senior hurling blah blah Fermanagh Ulster Championship blah blah a dozen twitter links in one post.
Some amount of hot air on this thread.

The Trump loyalty cult phenomenon is truly remarkable

Trumps latest truth social post.. Not sure here or the WTF thread, though I suppose he can have his own thread on his quotes.. I would make for funny reading
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Unfortunately the joke that is Trump stopped being funny a long time ago.

The US had limited stocks of about 4000 interceptor missiles which costs up to $US10 million each and can't be rapidly mass produced.

https://johnmenadue.com/post/2026/03/463469-2/
By contrast Iran has an almost limitless supply of 80,000 Shahed drones, 10,000 of which can be produced each month for only $US20,000 each. Time is not on Washington's side.
The war meant to advance Israels' interests may backfire, like it did in Iraq. The attacks on Iran may accelerate the very transformations it was meant to prevent. Trump has overestimated America's military omnipotence.
How could such a mentally disordered president fully grasp the catastrophe he has helped Israel unleash. Iran will not agree to a deal that will result in a return US /Israeli attack in six months' time. Iran will set very firm conditions for any settlement. There will be no regime change.

World opinion as reflected in the UN and its agencies is hostile to Israel. That hostility could change dramatically if it would at last recognise the legitimate rights and humanity of the Palestinian people and live in peace and partnership with them.
Israel will not do that while the US insulates it from the consequences of its immoral behaviour.
Israel's future will be in jeopardy if it continues to act as an outpost of the US Empire. It must come to terms with its own region and people.
A break in US uncritical and bipartisan support for Israel could open prospects for peace and justice for all in the Middle East

Quote from: bennydorano on March 30, 2026, 03:08:28 PMNot sure why people think Iran is doing well in this conflict? It is being systematically pulverised. Iran has got a lot of low hanging fruit in terms of it's resistance strategy - economic pressure, the choke point of Hormuz is an open goal and a plentiful supply of cheap drones that it can launch from anywhere, they've certainly a huge nuisance value, but to characterise as much more  than that is balls imo.
They don't need to "win" in a traditional sense to actually win the war as daft as that sounds, as long as they can keep causing economic hassle and keep firing missiles they're doing alright. By all accounts they've done a lot more harm to Tel Aviv than is being let on.

That's bollocks to be honest. Their infrastructure is pulverised as well as lots of their military facilities, their navy vessels and their air force. They've suffered tens of billions of damage and that's before we mention the thousands of citizen's who have died. All they've to show for their attacks on Israel and American is a few damaged streets in Israel and Americans paying more for gas. It's been a very expensive war for Iran no matter what the outcome.

America totally bombed the shit out of a lot of countries. Vietnam for example and they certainly didn't win that one. Is it not what it's always about, money and oil.

Quote from: johnnycool on March 31, 2026, 12:00:14 PMThe biggest issue at stake here for the US is the petrodollar.

If Iran starts selling oil to the rest of the world in anything other than the USD, and others follow suit then the inflated value of the dollar takes a serious hit and that will have huge implications for the US economy.

BRICS has been attempting this for a while now and has been unsuccessful. Will this war be enough to split the global economy and remove the US hegemony?

Trump never thought this through at all, but he's Netanyahu's bitch because of the Epstein files and will do as he's told.

That was what Gadaffi was planning to do and look how that ended for him.

DaleCooper

Some people do not understand Irans strategy at all and why they hold serious power now.

The US was focused on bombing IRGC personnel, killing their leaders and hitting military targets. Big Hoo Ha tub thumping. "4 week mission"

Iran sent off its dud ballistics to force Usrael to exhaust the expensive interceptors in a massive opening salvo. They launches tapered down because they are using high quality ballistics that are hitting Israel at will. [5% intercepted, probably less]

They have 7 layer deep contingencies in place for leadership replacements to counter the Jewish decapitation strategy nonsense that worked so well against Hamas LOL.

They have missile cities in the mountains and hidden ballistic launchers that operate on a rail system or buried under sand.

Thats before the decoy & real mines in Hormuz, or kamikaze drone boats or hypersonics.

Iran has "reverse sanctioned" the US. US is technically now funding the Russian war in Ukraine via them relaxing oil sanctions.

UK Italy France and Spain told US they wont be joining in.
alienated South Korea via moving THAAD. Ukrainian drone experts got killed as well as the US was not prepared to deal with Irans drones.

US military commentors saying a win is "opening the straights"

The "west" being berated by the thug USA again for not joining their illegal attack on Iran. ::)
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Suppose we just not a fan of blowing up schools, or his buddies who blow up schools, hospitals, and refugee camps.

Hopefully Europe, Canada etc. doesn't waver.

The orange f**k and his sycophantic lickspittle enablers were singing a different tune two months ago with the Greenland horseshit.

Just a year ago they were trying to humiliate Zelensky and his lack of "cards" - wonder will they say "thank you" to him now his country's drone expertise is proving so vital.

Trump ran on releasing the Epstein files and avoiding WW3 with Iran- turns out hes a pedo **** who started a war with Iran to divert attention from the Trumpstein files...

Not to mention cutting prices and inflation too. Petrol up 25% at the pump all across the US. And petrol and diesel prices have knock-on effects across the board.

The way things are going, we'll be headed for a recession.
