Meanwhile Iran calmly wrecks 6+ supertankers and an irreplacable AWACS plane that is one of only 16 in existence[700 million USD to replace] stationed at a Saudi base.

Iran have went from launching 400+ missiles per day at the start of March to about 10 a day now. Their missile launch centres have been decimated. 30 or 40 of their senior government officials have been killed including the big cheese himself.

The only "weapon" they have now is the price of oil.

The war meant to advance Israels' interests may backfire, like it did in Iraq. The attacks on Iran may accelerate the very transformations it was meant to prevent. Trump has overestimated America's military omnipotence.
How could such a mentally disordered president fully grasp the catastrophe he has helped Israel unleash. Iran will not agree to a deal that will result in a return US /Israeli attack in six months' time. Iran will set very firm conditions for any settlement. There will be no regime change.


World opinion as reflected in the UN and its agencies is hostile to Israel. That hostility could change dramatically if it would at last recognise the legitimate rights and humanity of the Palestinian people and live in peace and partnership with them.
Israel will not do that while the US insulates it from the consequences of its immoral behaviour.
Israel's future will be in jeopardy if it continues to act as an outpost of the US Empire. It must come to terms with its own region and people.
A break in US uncritical and bipartisan support for Israel could open prospects for peace and justice for all in the Middle East

Not sure why people think Iran is doing well in this conflict? It is being systematically pulverised. Iran has got a lot of low hanging fruit in terms of it's resistance strategy - economic pressure, the choke point of Hormuz is an open goal and a plentiful supply of cheap drones that it can launch from anywhere, they've certainly a huge nuisance value, but to characterise as much more  than that is balls imo.

They don't need to "win" in a traditional sense to actually win the war as daft as that sounds, as long as they can keep causing economic hassle and keep firing missiles they're doing alright. By all accounts they've done a lot more harm to Tel Aviv than is being let on.

That's bollocks to be honest. Their infrastructure is pulverised as well as lots of their military facilities, their navy vessels and their air force. They've suffered tens of billions of damage and that's before we mention the thousands of citizen's who have died. All they've to show for their attacks on Israel and American is a few damaged streets in Israel and Americans paying more for gas. It's been a very expensive war for Iran no matter what the outcome.

America totally bombed the shit out of a lot of countries. Vietnam for example and they certainly didn't win that one. Is it not what it's always about, money and oil.

The biggest issue at stake here for the US is the petrodollar.

If Iran starts selling oil to the rest of the world in anything other than the USD, and others follow suit then the inflated value of the dollar takes a serious hit and that will have huge implications for the US economy.
