How was he allowed to play if got a straight red card last week?
Suspended from that competition. IE will miss first round of champ next year

Disclaimer: the above is sourced for witty purposes only, the Peter Hughes in question is actually just another of The Tyrone Bench Fodder along with PJ Lavery and numerous others. Only one Peter Hughes was offended by this post.

Horrible post. To term these lads as bench fodder may be tongue in cheek but unbelievably disrespectful nonetheless. These lads are part of a SQUAD. Our top thirty players in the county. They may not have been given the game time that others have received but they do deserve our respect for their efforts. I wonder how you could have handled marking PJ Lavery or Peter Hughes?

Give Respect, Get Respect I believe is the slogan.....
It cetainly is but unfortunately some of our prominent match officials don't seem to share that outlook.

Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.

It's only a game at the end of the day- some of the abuse is a bit personal.

Agree wholeheartedly

Defensively are where our frailties lie and therefore where the bulk of our focus should be.

Do any clubs have a policy on social networking or would that be too difficult to police?
Is there a difference in abusing an official on the field as opposed to online?

If the official has a stinker of a game and thinks it is OK to tell a player to F%*K off when asked why he issued a black card I think he leaves himself open to ridicule and abuse.

Exactly, why should a player not be free to air his opinion?  Freedom of speech and all that.  Bad/inconsistent refereeing is ruining the game, unbelievable that nothing constructive ever seems to be done about it.  Same problem every year both locally and nationally.

On another note, is Niall Sludden back playing yet?

Niall sludden was togged out for Dromore on Saturday night but didn't come on.
Abuse of players by referees also needs addressed. If it is improper for a player to abuse a match official then this should work both ways.

Don't see how Lambert is an odd signing at all.
when we were chasing the game against Chelsea, BR was forced to bring Aspas on as an attacking option.  I can't forget his corner!! Gary McAllister arrived to anfield at 30+ and was a revelation. £4m is worth the risk.

The red Italia 90 folder was different.  It was called World Cup 90 and you collected magazines for the folder.  There was also a Panini sticker album.

The social media thing is spiralling out of control.  Can players be sanctioned for inappropriate comments? Just a thought.

Well said lads.  The easiest thing to do is to blame!! Teamtalk offer a sevice that is without equal in other counties. IMO they equally cater for club, school and county.  As someone said, there is only so much they can do.  Tyrone under 21s were playing, the Railway cup final was on, the camogie team was out, there was a MacRory match on the Saturday.  You can't divide yourself!! The Teamtalk AllStars night was a wonderful occasion and reflected the vibrant state of club football in Tyrone.  It's petty to take the easy option and say 'What about us?'. The under 21 game was online yesterday so what's the problem?
Rant over.

Ran 5k for the first time in a couple of months on Sunday as I recover from a knee/hip/glute injury. Calf feels like someone has lodged a nail in it - looks a bit bruised as well. Swam yesterday to try and reduce the aches but just as sore today. Any ideas to take the pain out of it? Scheduled to run this evening but might give it a miss.
Foam roller a great job for muscle recovery

I was a fan of the 4 division system.
22 league games. Home and Away.
11 you were guaranteed your county men.
Another benefit of this means that you played your relegation rivals twice in a season- possible four points. If you were bottom at the end of the season you deserved to be.
Completely agree. Starred games would then be less of an issue. Clubs could be given dates well in advance.

Will the county minors be allowed to play on Saturday?
