Binged that His and Her over the past few days. Decent enough with a bit of a twist to it.

Quote from: bennydorano on January 14, 2026, 08:34:35 PMVery fortunate to be 1-0 up at ht. Falkirk have played most of the football.

The main thing is that it is a win! Desperately need some quality added in the team and especially up front! Hearts not letting up!

Quote from: JPGJOHNNYG on January 10, 2026, 05:13:32 PMGood for O'Neil to start just as he had left. Let's hope that Nancy fiasco can be put behind us quickly

Good first result back! Some of the stories coming out about Nancy are comical.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on January 08, 2026, 01:45:32 PMRecently signed up to Paramount Plus to watch Mobland.

Is it worth keeping and if so what you recommend watching next?

Lioness and Mayor Of Kingstown are good shows.

Think that's where I watched The Bureau as well.

Rangers were 13 points behind Hearts and eight behind Celtic when Danny Rohl was appointed. We're now three points behind Hearts and three points ahead of Celtic. A remarkable turnaround in our season, and it's down to Danny Rohl.
If a want is doing a good job does he not deserve praise?

It's more to do with Celtic being completely shite that they're now back in the hunt. If Celtic were playing even half decent and had a striker they'd be about 12 points clear ffs.
Sure you could say this about anything. If Rangers hadn't been completely shite at the start of the season they would be miles clear. It's the most competitive SPL in years. Hopefully the hibs can keep stringing wins together and get involved too.

My point is Rangers were shite at the start of the league and they are still shite. Slightly improved but it is Celtic who have went to complete shite in a month and now Rangers are making it out that your man Rohl is a miracle worker.

Do you not think Rohl deserves immense credit?

If MON wins the league would Celtic fans not be waxing lyrical about him and what a job he's done after the mess Nancy left them in January?  Rohl came into a even worse situation that MON finds himself in now and has taken 32 points out of the last 36 available.  Regardless of your dislike for the rival club you have to tip your hat to him.

He has definitely done a better job than the previous managers. I will 100% give him that. But I don't think he is the miracle worker they're making out. He has 32 points from 39 is it? Which is good compared to previous. But he's done nothing in Europe like Celtic and beaten by Celtic in the league cup.   Celtic have now given Rangers confidence that they can go on and win the league. I still believe if Celtic kept O'Neill and hadn't went and got your man Nancy then they'd be comfortable enough in first place.

I hope O'Neill is given some sort of chance with some signings. I am hearing Kyogo is coming back. That's not a statement of intent!

I'd rather lean over the fence and give off about everyone.
Plus I couldn't keep up with the type of bikes illdecide is riding now. That man is setup better than a pro team. Hard to hide the money.

watching. I've started one called Spiral and it's very good so far. 8 seasons so plenty of watching to do.
I am curious, were you not on the board when we were fulsomely praising  Le Bureau and Spiral to the
highest hilt? it's as if you are only now discovering the Barca team  of 2011 that had Xavi, Iniesta and Messi in flowing majestic form.

I'm just late to the party with the French shows. Dark Hearts is another good one on BBC iPlayer. Another one I still want to watch is The West Wing! Really late to the party with that one!!

So frustrating. They literally could have given Martin O'Neill the job until the end of the season a month ago. I'm just not so sure that he can save things twice but I suppose it can't get any worse. badly need a few players in the door here as well.

They aren't really, a good PRO and good communications can help drive promotion of not just the games but also the teams. Which in turn helps raise the profile of games and young people could actually step forward and want to play for Antrim

Why don't the county go speak to them two lads doing the podcast? SAFFRON voice

The same two that berated the county? Aye, sound lads  ;D

Anyone who speaks bad about the county ousted then? Not be many men left to pick from lol

Quote from: Onthe40 on January 05, 2026, 11:34:51 AMjez look at the team yesterday

lammers - jury out but looks workable
shaw - done
heavenly - a kid
dorku - raw, has potential , suddenly finds himself a main man in the team
Martinez - if can stay fit, good player
casimeiro - done
dalot - crap, inconsistent
ugarte - crap
Sesko - what a waste of money
yoro - inconsistent & unreliable
cunha - one bit of quality & now main man (with Bruno out)
Sirske - waste of money out

there's 4 players you prob keep out of that
Amorim deserves a medal having Utd sitting 5th with that bunch

They'll probably go elsewhere and become Balon d'or nominees

Quote from: Casement on December 30, 2025, 07:17:39 PMIt's not as simple as that for me. Technically of course he's free to take teams the other 4 nights (the best county teams operate on a 5-7 session basis btw).

But it would be based on two things. The first being the bad message that it sends out to be players and the county in that he might not expect Antrim to be playing into the latter stages of competitions and therefore he can focus on his club team thereafter.  The second thing would show to me that his focus isn't 100% on Antrim, which it clearly wouldn't be.

There is another question to be asked as to why he wants to take more than one team. It speaks mercenary vibes to me.

I want them to do well and I want to watch them but there's something to me not right about a man taking money from multiple places whilst the players knock their balls in for love of the county.

Are you only realising that about him now?

He's been in a heap of counties and moves from club to club. From what I gather, Slaughtneil never developed much under his control over the few years.

I'm surprised Antrim didn't go after Kevin Brady. I think he'd have been a decent option. Although probably has unfinished business with Newbridge.

Anyone I've spoken to is disgusted by him going after a club job whilst manager of Antrim. It smacks of a number of things and I certainly would question his commitment to Antrim at very least.

Antrim need to win Div.4, anything less and he will be told to focus on his club job permanently.

sure he's not going near the club scene until after Antrim is finished 😉
