Was reading a bit about a fake rear admiral and clocked this site. Right few clowns besmerching their glorious dead - among a variety of Walters.

Switched to Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 from Gilette recently, they kick Gilette's ass imo. Shave the dome twice a week and shave face every other day, 1 blade has been doing me a fortnight (Gilette's fancy equivalent changed weekly). Cant remember what i paid the last time but on offer atm, 9 blades & handle for £15 on Amazon.

Even the Millions who earn NMW and wait for their annual inflation linked payrises?

Quote from: nrico2006 on March 24, 2024, 10:11:18 AMWatched first half an hour of 3 Body Problem and turned it off as it seemed crap and thought it was one of those multiple, universe inside universe shows like Inception or something. Nothing else to watch last night so stuck on the rest and ended up watching 4 of them. Turning out very good.
Binged it all, excellent Sci fi, but I do think it'll be niche enough and not mainstream. 2 more original books in the series and I read an article already that Netflix haven't committed to the trilogy; costs are huge and they're waiting on reviews / reception data coming in.
Watching 3 body problem again, love it. And series 2 has got the green light, happy days.

Quote from: Munchie on November 11, 2025, 10:33:24 PMWill AI tell those in the know that yearly pay rises without improving or accountability isn't the best idea?
I'd say even AI is familiar with the concept of inflation and cost of living.

Madden will be happy with the HT scoreline but little else, 2nd best but still very much in the game, they are capable of much better and are playing into the shooting goals in 2nd half.
#7
A lot of danger signs for Madden already
#8
Game over with 15 to go

Loughmacrory will be delighted to be only 2 down at HT, they've played none, they look as green as grass. Kilcoo have missed a lot of scoreable chances, could come back to haunt them - but they do look well in control tbh.

Loughmacrory need HT already

3.4 to 0.1 to Belleek, it's not over but 7/2 seemed a mad price.

"Reform would remove the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights, repeal the Human Rights Act and disapply the 1951 Refugee Convention, the UN Convention Against Torture and the Council of Europe Convention on Action Against Trafficking in Human Beings"

Can't see many middleclass voters voting for that. Reform is also weak on the economy.. Farage is a one trick pony.

The whole of the moon. Too high too far too soon.

Lol, Never read the UK Telegraph, Mail or Express obviously. The Times is even becoming a bit of a shitbag of a paper.

Labour has fallen to fourth in a new opinion poll – putting the party on track for its worst election result in more than a century.
Support for Sir Keir Starmer's party in the poll of 2,717 adults has slumped to 15 per cent- behind Reform UK, the Greens and the Conservatives.
It is the latest in a string of polls which have put Labour behind the Greens since Zack Polanski was elected leader of that party in September.
Last week the party overtook Labour for the first time in a survey by the same company which placed them on 17 per cent, a point ahead of Sir Keir and Ms Badenoch's parties which were tied on 16 per cent each.

Polls are pretty meaningless at this stage in the cycle as the next UK General Election is not legally required until August 2029. They'll not go a day before it to give themselves a chance to right the ship - unless events dictate otherwise.

The next UK Election results could be mayhem, I really think the Tories are finished and Reform are peaking too soon - which is why right wing rags/ twitter bots will be doing their utmost to bring Labour down asap. A coalition government of some sort would be very likely imo.

I think the Tories will be just fine next election, most successful political party for a reason. And after Donald's somehow managed to get back into world of politics and the White House wouldn't be surprised if a certain blonde buffoon is back in charge of the Conservatives for the next election.
So were the Liberals at one time, the rise of Labour and WW1 and they were done. History could be about to repeat itself with Reform, the Right is splintered and vulnerable electorally to attacks from the right, middle & left in different areas. Politics has changed.
