Quote from: Blowitupref on October 06, 2025, 09:27:35 PMArmagh Stefan Campbell has retired from inter-county duty.

The Clan na Gael clubman, who made a huge impact in the county's 2024 All-Ireland success, informed management and players of his decision in recent days, and is one of a number of players to exit alongside the likes of Ciaron O'Hanlon and Ciaran Higgins.

Campbell first joined the panel in 2011 and made his championship debut two years later.

He will be a big miss

Proved to be a big miss in the All-Ireland Quarter final against Kerry. Looks like a big transitional period ahead for Armagh and next spring likely battle with Monaghan,Roscommon to avoid the drop to Division 2?

Pick an Armagh starting 15 and 5 subs from the bench and see if it looks like a team in transition....Far from it.

There are some cracking young talents brought in who will develop for a year (potentially getting game time/starts if good enough) whilst the like of Grugan and Murnin wind down.

Soupy's impact is a loss. Niall Grimley is a loss too. Beyond that, the rest didn't play much or at all.
Potentially some guys won't be available for the start of the league through injury or other reasons.

The average age of Armagh starting team from the All-Ireland final in 2024 was 29, it was a team at it's peak with transition coming shortly afterwards.

As good as Liverpool was mid week against Real Madrid they were the opposite tonight as bossed and bullied by City.  Strange lack of consistency from Liverpool this season after spending big in the summer.

A deserved 2-0 half time lead for Man City. Liverpool sure to have a kick in them, can't be as bad 2nd half?

North London Shamrocks with a competitive 1st half display against the Mayo champions and led by a point but Ballina got the last three points of the half to lead 1-6 to 0-7 at the break.

Level game 40 minutes played 1-7 to 0-10

Strong finish by Ballina to win 1-15 to 0-10

Quote from: Armagh18 on November 08, 2025, 07:47:17 AMWell done Oisin Conaty. Delighted for him.

Rest of the team probably as expected, Meath maybe underrepresented but not sure who you'd take out.

This is obviously bate?
Morris maybe hard done by? Meath topped their group and beat Dublin, Kerry and Galway in the one year, obviously didn't turn up against Donegal but they'd a good year.

Tyrone under represented as SF usually get 1. Meath where represented

2nd year in a row a semi finalists didn't get one.  Kerry with none last year and only lost after extra time to the eventual champions.
