Online courses on Groupon

Has anyone ever tried these courses before. Are they accredited courses or would they be worth buying and completing for CV purposes or would employers dismiss these types of courses?

I ve seen a few of them come up on CVs of people I've been interviewing, typically the accounting or project management courses. Bottom line is they don't hurt and show that the person is willing to try and improve.themself.

one word of caution though, like anything else you put on your CV, make sure you can stand over it. Nothing loses an interview panel quicker than uncovering a blatant lie on the cv!
