Not one of the worst but one I'll always remember, Colm O'Rourke identifing Brian Dooher as the weak link of the Tyrone team in 2003. And the "I'll eat my hat if Tyrone win an AI with Dooher in the team"

When Tyrone got beat by Down in 2008 after a replay, and even after they narrowly beat Mayo, people wrote them off altogether.

From the Bunker

O'Rourke and Spillane backing Galway to beat Mayo in the Championship last summer. Game was over after 15 minutes. Brolly who picked Mayo spent the half time break teasing the two pundits as they tried to rationalise their prediction.

ONeill

Tyrone v Down 2005 in Omagh. Frank Mitchell said there would be light showers. It rained incessantly.

The prophets of doom, who predicted that the introduction of grants for inter-county players would:-lead to the end of volunteerism;lead to demands for 'pay for play';lead to inter-county players taking cases to the European Court, demanding inter-county transfers, because their earning power was affected by being tied to a county who had little chance of making the latter stages of the All-Ireland;etc;etc;etc...... ::)
