Quote from: tiempo on February 07, 2026, 10:51:56 PMSquad depth is why they're top and going for the quad, 22 internationals and a couple of prospects, serious depth

Personally I'd put Lewis-Skelly left wing, Trossard was OK today but they need to carry more threat on the left

In the terms of overall quality how would the current squad compare to the last Arsenal Premier league title winning squad

Goalkeepers Jens Lehmann,    Graham Stack

Defenders Lauren, Sol Campbell, Kolo Touré, Ashley Cole    Pascal Cygan, Gaël Clichy, Martin Keown

Midfielders Freddie Ljungberg, Patrick Vieira,Gilberto Silva, Robert Pirès    Edu, Ray Parlour

Forwards Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp,José Antonio Reyes, Sylvain Wiltord, Nwankwo Kanu, Jérémie Aliadière

Top Scorer: Thierry Henry won the Premier League Golden Boot with 30 goals.

Defensive Record: The team conceded only 26 goals all season, with Jens Lehmann playing every minute.

The Unbeaten Run: This title was part of a record-breaking 49-game unbeaten streak that spanned from May 2003 to October 2004.

More strength in depth now at GK, defence and midfield but not at striker position.

Quote from: Blowitupref on February 07, 2026, 01:22:10 PMThe Spurs captain Romero saw red on 30 minutes after he left his studs on the ankle of Casemiro who was writhing in agony. His 2nd red this season so will serve a 4 game ban now.

Man United took the lead with clever set piece goal. Half time 1-0

And him giving out about club not having enough players and now he misses 4 games.

Nonsense, most Cavan fans know exactly where we are at.

You should get out more. Most of them think they are a step above Monaghan even though Monaghan have been top 8 team for 12 years.

Neighbour slagging, who'd have thought it.

Quote from: johnnycool on January 26, 2026, 09:19:41 AMAre Arsenal the new Wimbledon?

Scoring most of their goals from set plays were they lob it into the box, make it a bit of a scramble and hope for the best.

The lack of goals from open play must or should be a concern.

Wonder why Europe is different then? Almost like opposition try play a little.

Quote from: Blowitupref on January 20, 2026, 07:22:19 PMA Manchester Derby defeat hangover for City tonight.

Bodø/Glimt 3 Man City 1 with ten minutes to play.

Is it not more a fact that they've loads of injuries, World Club Cup catching up, players of form and looks like Pep is going at end of season?

You'd have thought Fallon was down his home pitch with a bag of balls he was so composed slotting that over .

Played well but surely its no.5 ?

That's him

Quote from: BigGreenField on January 18, 2026, 04:44:15 PMGiven how important Geaney is to Dingle a correctly applied black card would have been game over. A ridiculous miss by ref.

Had hand up for advantage. Joke.

Release clause and player going out of contract. Guehi on 300 thousand a week is crazy money.

Quote from: Look-Up! on January 16, 2026, 02:55:32 PMI'd start to worry if I were an Arsenal fan. City have strengthened nicely both in defense and attack. If they avoid major injuries they'll push the gunners hard. Hopefully they don't wilt.

500 million spent in a year facing 115 charges. Seems legit.

Always support the Ulster team but the air horns were awful. Hard to support that or their tactics.

Quote from: ONeill on January 11, 2026, 11:11:04 PMGood to see Havertz back and playing. Even in the cameo, he displayed a bit of intelligence.

Lewis-Skelly seems off the boil.

His movement and hold up play compared to what's been there this season was night and day.
