Quote from: Mourne Red on March 09, 2026, 02:21:28 PMMight announce a cut in fuel duty although Labor seem hard to get anything out of.

G7 meeting now to discuss whether to release their storage reserves to help reduce prices and just as I type this they're not dipping into the reserves

There is no supply issue

Just remember these oil price rises has nothing to the supply of the stuff from the ground, it's purely down to investors looking to make money.

Just remember its not the small shops that put up the prices, they don't have control over the display boards. Its whoever owns the pumps that can just change the prices from HQ.

I know of one supplier who puts the price off fuel up by a few pence at peak traffic times then drops it again.

Heard on the radio this morning that the north's storage tanks at the ports are holding Irish oil stocks as they were sold of to private investors.

We get our oil etc straight off the tankers and into distributors yards, there are no buffer tanks to limit what we are seeing now.

This place really is a joke

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on March 02, 2026, 10:49:15 PMThey not beat this lot. as i say there a fair % of them die hard bollacks. Tried this shit in Iraq, even if they go in, they not change anything. US will leave the place in a mess, as they done to every country they been in conflict with. All this massive money spent on bcking Israels idea, but complained about Europe buying 2nd hand 2nd rate weapons from Europe to give to Ukraine. Putin and that Israeli p***k got his fool under their foot!

Is this not the objective, parts of the middle east will not be allowed to develop as there is a lot of wealth under the ground.

The rise we are seeing in crude oil is not from supply issues its from investors buying shares to get on the pigs back to make a few quid while the rest of us pay for it.

I see OPEC has upped production of oil to try and keep a lid on the price going into the future as it will benefit Russia if it sky rockets.

Mods you can remove if this isn't allowed.

This Tyrone family received every parents worst news last year. A page has been set up to give this young lad few good days for the time he has left.

Any help is appreciated and it's what the GAA is all about..... community.

Another death on this god forsaken road.

My eldest was only 1 when the new road was originally due to start, he will be learning to drive next year and will have to run the risk of this road which I thought he wouldn't have to do.

Just deleted tiktok after a year using it. Found myself wasting too much time on it.
The final straw was Oracle taking over....no thanks.

There will only be minor works done to secure the planning permission, I have a feeling this will rumble on for another few years yet.

Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on December 31, 2025, 12:21:07 PMThat case of the young girl Lynch found dead last year down Monaghan direction doesn't make pretty reading either for the psni
Thats flew under the radar as well big time, whole thing stinks. Absolutely awful for the poor girls family.

Quote from: ShutterinbyDayGAAbyNight on June 20, 2024, 02:11:41 PMI know this is probably abit late, but I can't wrap my head around this case. Completely bonkers. Was this creswell guy running some sort of a cult?

https://armaghi.com/news/armagh-news/stark-similarities-between-jonathan-creswell-and-jimmy-savile/245020

Thought it very strange how this murder trial flew under the radar for so long (and that's before the full extent came out)

Bringing this back up as I watched the documentary that Sky done. It still is a shocking case and the cops handling of it was a disgrace. Had Creswells family connections within the police as it was being swept under the carpet from day one.
Would love to know who posted his bail and why was he even granted bail given his previous convictions.
That Robinson girl should have done time for what she did.
