Tie Breakers should teams be level after all matches are completed:

(1) The higher number of League Points obtained in the 'Head-to-Head' games defined as the games in which the teams involved in the tie have played each other. 
(2) The higher Scoring Difference (subtracting the total Scores Against from total Scores For) in the 'Head-to-Head' games.
(3) The higher Scores For in the 'Head-to- Head' games.
(4) If, having applied criteria (1) to (3) inclusive, there are still teams with an equal ranking, criteria (1) to (3) are applied to the 'Head to Head' games between the teams which remain tied.
(5) The higher Scoring Difference in all games in the League Group.
(6) The higher Scores For in all games in the League Group.
(7) A Play-Off.

Anyone seen any clarification if Carey or Creggan are through to semi? Saffron Gael have Creggan through but others interpret Carey having best goal difference.

Must have the criteria right for 2 teams h2h but not 3? Check the JFC, table has O'Ds in 3rd but they were actually second as per qf fixtures where they are at home to Pearses.

Different times compared to what it was like 25 / 30 years ago.

In our part of the world back then any Saturday night you could have went to Toome, Cookstown, Magherafelt or at a push Omagh.  Even before you headed there you would have been in the local for a few and they were all busy as well.

Definitely young people heading out less, I hear the Uni nightlife in Belfast is not the same as it would have have been years ago either.

Eldest went up last week and was out every night. Maybe settle down after freshers, hopefully.

More manager IMO and I love MON. To me, he should have just shut the door in that game and went negative. They showed enough in the first leg that they could create chances so if they started hitting the net, which they did, he should have shut up shop. I think it was the third goal that Celtic were caught on the counter with two of their midfielders running beyond our midfield who were high up the park. Shouldn't be happening and took too long to try to shut it down.

Good point SS...the weak spot would definitely be a team that lost first two or three games and had nothing to play for in the last match, unless of course there was play off match between last place teams to drop into intermediate and be replace by the previous years intermediate champs.

So in effect clubs would be doing their best to avoid finishing last in their group...keeping game 4 honest.

4 x league games plus two semis and a final is 7 weekends. If we drop the semi over 2 legs its 6...same as now.

4 group matches but with 5 teams that's four weekends with a match and one with a bye so groups would take up five weekends.

I think the biggest issue would be 2 groups of 5 with only 2 teams progressing per group would lead to dead rubbers. IHC has just moved away from that format to include qf round. It wouldd also need 8 weeks of matches, currently 6. Where are you fitting it in?

Very dodgy at the back. After knocking it sideways there was a couple of near suicidal passes back to the keeper which were not punished. Also, the scoreline doesn't reflect the fact that Dundee United hit the woodwork 5 times.

The scoreline did reflect that...the scoreline only changes when it goes in the net.

Hopefully bring in the Torino guy. Chelsea left back on loan should be good. Probably need a rb and gk still.
