Nonsense. It's an exceptional movie.

Sacked by Middlesbrough to "might have a shot at getting the United gig if they do ok".

Surely the supporters riot at that point, no?

The idea that all counties divide their championships in 3 is demonstrably rubbish. Senior A, Premier Intermediate, Premier Junior etc exist all over the place. "Novice" in Kerry is just what wind be called Junior B elsewhere.

So follow your suggestion through. What are the implications of that for clubs that might be, say, D1 or D2 but intermediate or junior? Should they be allowed play junior within their county if they haven't achieved the promotion standard within the county, i.e. winning the junior championship? What about Na Gaeil who as it was pointed out play D3 but senior championship. Is it unfair on them that some of their senior championship rivals play D1 or D2? They made the final of the Kerry club championship this year ffs.

Do you want all counties to adopt the exact same model?

Does "potential" just mean young these days? Yoro has shown nothing since arriving at United that he has the potential to be a top level CB. Obviously he might turn out to be fantastic, but he's shown nothing like the quality of someone like, say, Huijsen who's only a few months older than him.

Packers collapse was pretty spectacular. Bears were poor and they just handed it to them on a plate in the 4th quarter.

No, Big Mo was Charlie's mother in law. She was Harris I think, not Slater. Played by Laila Morse who is Gary Oldman's sister.

Wouldn't have figured he was that old.

Could make sure it's buried very, very deep down in them?

An Gaeltacht won't care one jot. Congrats to them.

Real final was last week in the end. Hopefully much better fare in the senior final next week.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on January 11, 2026, 04:34:06 PMAidam Walsh has negated McNicholl who does all the ball carrying from midfield. But they problems all over the field. And 3/4 playing playing over 36 doesnt help at this level.

Walsh is no young pup himself but Glenullin definitely carrying a few lads who are carrying their own burdens. Very poor all round. Skinner's bad days in his prime were always spectacularly so. He hasn't even been involved enough for it to be that bad but it's been very, very poor.

This hasn't got any better  :o .

Some solid tackling from Glenullin at least.

Quote from: general_lee on January 11, 2026, 04:02:51 PMSimple rule from Croke Park, if you reach Division 1 in your county you're immediately ineligible to play Junior football. Although Glenullin playing like a junior team here. Absolutely awful

Would it be ok if they played intermediate? What's the cutoff?

Quote from: general_lee on January 11, 2026, 03:35:15 PMMaybe Castledawson are just shite? Surely you see the irony in Derry people complaining about Kerry when the same principle applies

Yes, with a mighty haul of 2 x intermediate titles and zero junior.

Whilst it's nigh on impossible to get a level playing field outside of senior, 1 county winning 50% of the All Ireland junior titles is just ridiculous

Glenullin should be playing senior championship imo

And as has been pointed out to you, that's down to Kerry for years getting away with, for example, their 9th best club playing intermediate because their senior championship has the divisions. It's not because that 9th best club plays completely irrelevant D1 league games in March.

Quote from: gallsman on January 11, 2026, 03:10:31 PMYeah, I'd not be arguing too much about how Glenullin are really up against it at intermediate level given this is their 62643874th bite at the cherry in the last few years.

Call to stop whining immediately followed by a whine, glorious 🤙

Look up the definition of irony there like a good lad. Every day's a school day.
