Any day someone representing Ireland win's their second gold at a World Championship is surely worthy of its own thread.  Co. Down man, Daniel Wiffen, unreal achievement ... hitting the form of his life in Olympic year as well ...

Ex-St Pats Armagh. Great to see. Some work goes into swimming from a young age.

Great to see it, following his career with interest. He's progressing superbly.

Terrific performance. The brother is another star apparently as well.

Nathaniel is good but Daniel seems to be ahead of him for now. The other brother Benjamin is a swim coach.

Strange enough names for people from that part of the world. Mixed marriage?

The Da is a Yorkshireman and they were born in England. I worked with him years ago and they were into the local Church so the boys would certainly have been an outlier at St. Pats in Armagh.
