He's out long term?

Majority of match going fans would be happy enough too I would imagineQuote from: screenexile on May 07, 2026, 03:07:26 PMRTE Is only 2 stations and between Hurling Football and all the other sport they need to show it's never going to be able to do it right.
I know they have GAA+ but the GAA need to bring on another broadcast partner to show games to make sure everything can get fully covered.
I know logistically for players it isn't ideal but Friday night games should be happening on a trial basis next season for teams that are close together. Derry v Armagh and Dublin v Louth could easily work on a Friday night for players and supporters @ 8pm under lights.
Then you've opened up another slot for tv!
Great for the viewer at home.
Nightmare for players and match goers.
Never worry about the players or fans who aren't fit to get away in plenty of time then.
If your argument is people are working at 8pm on a Friday then you can make the argument that hospital/bar/shop/restaurant workers etc work could be working Sundays too so can't have games then either.

Quote from: lurganblue on May 06, 2026, 09:06:43 AMThe big lad Atletico had up front at the end was a complete pockle.
It felt like they were maybe getting into it a bit but when Griezmann went off they had no chance of scoring really.
Arsenal looked just OK. Obviously a final can go either way, but the other 2 teams look like they will cause serious problems for them.
Arteta up and down, outside his box, running after any balls that go over the sideline near him. What is the point in drawing a technical area? About 8 Arsenal subs lining the sideline too at the end, wasnt a good look.

Both equally as big.
Agree, both the same magnitude
The league isn't done til the final whistle on the last day, was a serious comeback from City last night full credit to them
Palace on the final day is no gimmie either, expecting plenty of drama yet
Be nice to brush Athletico aside tomorrow night, but thats v unlikely ... interesting to see if Lewis-Skelly features in CM before the end of the week, very decent Zubamendi style performance at the weekend
