Quote from: ArmaghTastic on Today at 10:25:09 AMWhy is no one talking about City " bottling" the league?
It was in their hands after beating Arsenal then they mess up against Everton.
They might still win it but it's crazy to think everyone was saying Arsenal had bottled it but the same isn't being said about City.

City don't get clicks.

Quote from: Silkyskillssunshinee on May 17, 2026, 04:20:19 PMBrilliant stuff and if they get Luke Loughlin back fit, Westmeath won't be easy opposition in the AI series.

He's out long term?

Quote from: screenexile on May 07, 2026, 03:07:26 PMRTE Is only 2 stations and between Hurling Football and all the other sport they need to show it's never going to be able to do it right.

I know they have GAA+ but the GAA need to bring on another broadcast partner to show games to make sure everything can get fully covered.

I know logistically for players it isn't ideal but Friday night games should be happening on a trial basis next season for teams that are close together. Derry v Armagh and Dublin v Louth could easily work on a Friday night for players and supporters @ 8pm under lights.

Then you've opened up another slot for tv!

Great for the viewer at home.
Nightmare for players and match goers.
Doubt players will mind I'm sure most teams train Friday evenings anyway and 99% will be in a job where they'll be fit to get away in plenty of time. Majority of match going fans would be happy enough too I would imagine

Never worry about the players or fans who aren't fit to get away in plenty of time then.
The players will manage.

If your argument is people are working at 8pm on a Friday then you can make the argument that hospital/bar/shop/restaurant workers etc work could be working Sundays too so can't have games then either.

Club players make it work. If counties close definitely works.

Quote from: Armagh18 on May 06, 2026, 09:50:46 PMFor the sake of football lets hope PSG win about 8 nil.

Ah yeah the state owned team where their hosting of a world cup was responsible for the deaths of migrant workers.

Almost like the champions league sharing a sponsor with PSG is legit.

Quote from: lurganblue on May 06, 2026, 09:06:43 AMThe big lad Atletico had up front at the end was a complete pockle.

It felt like they were maybe getting into it a bit but when Griezmann went off they had no chance of scoring really.

Arsenal looked just OK. Obviously a final can go either way, but the other 2 teams look like they will cause serious problems for them.

Arteta up and down, outside his box, running after any balls that go over the sideline near him. What is the point in drawing a technical area?  About 8 Arsenal subs lining the sideline too at the end, wasnt a good look.

Oh no call the celebration police. The subs lined up to celebrate. Funny you mention Arteta and ignore the other manager doing the exact same thing. Also Simeone starting on the Arsenal Sporting Director ignored. One rule for one I guess.

Quote from: ONeill on May 04, 2026, 11:17:09 PMWhich is the bigger game? Madrid on Tues or the Hammers on Sunday?

Both equally as big.

Agree, both the same magnitude

The league isn't done til the final whistle on the last day, was a serious comeback from City last night full credit to them

Palace on the final day is no gimmie either, expecting plenty of drama yet

Be nice to brush Athletico aside tomorrow night, but thats v unlikely ... interesting to see if Lewis-Skelly features in CM before the end of the week, very decent Zubamendi style performance at the weekend

Palace may have kids out with European final. West Ham is the game. Away to a team fighting relegation. Brentford could get result v City as they are good on counter and both teams need to win.

His behaviour is always disgraceful but never called out for it.

Quote from: gallsman on May 02, 2026, 11:27:44 PMI'm far from Allen's biggest fan but he spoke very well there.

I wouldn't be a fan either but way too harsh on himself.
