Go 3 up, bring on fresh legs and break the play up. Bring on another sub a min later etc....some of our men were absolutely spent. Easiest thing in the world though watching from the sidelines that's for sure

Agree with those who are not overelly conserned about us not getting promoted this year.  Div 2 is the best place for giving young players a chance to develop and help to build a strong squad.

McKinlless's greatest strength is his reading of the game, good man to snap up ball among a group of players and then breaks  at pace with his head up and can take a score or give a clever pass... remember he got an Al-Star

Meath v Tyrone
Cork v Kildare
Offaly v Cavan

From a Kildare point of view I don't see us getting anything in Cork and Cavan will beat Offaly. Meath will win, but not 100% still on Derry but it'd be better for us if they won and Louth were out of the promotion hunt coming to Newbridge.

Tyrone will beat Meath.

Wouldn't be too sure about that. I think Tyrone have had a player drop off the panel this week and Canavan is on his travels.
Meath will be strong in Croker and will run at Tyrone - I can see them scoring plenty. It could be a high scoring game, but I give a tentative nod to Meath based.

Louth v Derry is coin toss. If Derry can hit the heights they did against Cork, I'll go with them.

Cork will probably have too much for Kildare, they are at home and I think I read they have some injured players back.

Cavan will beat Offaly.

Will be a hostile environment on saturday but we should have too much for them

Meenagh was saying in an interview after the cork match that mcevoy is backing training and should be getting game time very soon. So wouldn't be surprised if he is in the squad

Just to kick this up again. The NFL and NHL are the second biggest competitions in the GAA and yet so much of it passes without a second of coverage.
Kildare were in Div 3 last year and I never expect much, but Div 2 as a whole is barely getting a look-in. Kids consume so much through screens and highlights, and  it's a massive issue.

How can Clubber rock up at every game all summer and then when it gets to this game you have one camera and 90 seconds of highlights and that's it. Even a very basic thing on GAA+ YouTube.

Kildare v Offaly was a Saturday and there wasn't a single clip until TG4's GAA 2026 did a decent package on Monday.

Everyone is raving about Barry McNulty's scoring for Leitrim but that seems to have come from a streamer or a local crew.

Its a joke. League of Ireland stream 500 odd games throughout the season between the 1st, 2nd and women's divisions (which costs the same per year as GAA+) and the GAA barely stream any. I don't know why they can't just let Rte, BBC and tg4 choose which games they want and stream the rest on GAA+.

Alex Beirne red card has been upheld so would assume same decision for Glass
