Quote from: Puckoon on March 13, 2026, 05:01:40 PMI think Rory would be happy enough to miss this cut with this back injury and the masters on the horizon.

Will be going to the Wednesday practice round this year, bucketlist trip I am very excited. A few rounds of golf either side of that in Atlanta.

Now we all hate you, lol. Just out of interest, what is your handicap index?

Quote from: marty34 on March 08, 2026, 04:47:40 PMThe scenes at end will cover up the serious lack of quality in Celtic. Brutal. Maybe 1 shot on target after 120 mins. Brutal.

Even the recent Jan. signings are very poor and haven't done much. Made no impact today. Artur started but probably wouldn't have if Tierney wasn't injured. That's brutal.  Thinking of playing Maeda, a wideman, up front.

As for the winger that came on in the 2nd half on the left side was brutal. Looking as if he never say a football in his life.

Good heart and guts, as you'd expect under O'Neill but could have played for 3 days and wouldn't have scored.

Keeper seemed to be an upgrade from Schmciel anyway.

The Celtic keeper was very good.

Some great videos of the schenanigans at the end, but I bet the authorities will attribute the blame 50-50.

For you IT folk of a certain vintage, Blackberry is quite good.

Quote from: illdecide on March 06, 2026, 09:52:43 AMWhat a season men...Rollercoaster is the perfect description for it. I just hope Celtic can hang in there and win all their games to the split and then get ready for one last big push, with Hearts and Sevco to come to Celtic Park we have a chance. The Motherwell game next Sat is worrying and if we can beat them and keep the pressure on then Celtic have a big chance but Hearts are in the driving seat.
As for Cup match over at Snake Mountain this weekend...would be great to win that with 7,500 fans in the full stand, will be some atmosphere. If we can keep that tight until half way through the second half Celtic should win but conceding early is the issue.
At least Armagh can't lose this weekend so only have one Team to worry about.

Made me laugh :-)

I quite like Paul Givan. He does not shirk away from the big issues and is a good example of Stormont working with local people making local decisions. Sure, not everyone will agree with the decision but that's democracy innit?

(Other DUP colleagues continue to walk into every lamppost possible).

Quote from: JPGJOHNNYG on March 02, 2026, 08:35:53 AMThat's some collapse from Lowry FFS. I know he has had some chokes in the past but he has shown a lot of strength at the Ryder cup so was hoping it was a thing of the past. I see Seamus Power played the last like a tool that would have been very costly

So Seamus took an 8 on the par 5 last hole.

He won $22.9k whereas a par would have rewarded him $77.6k

Onwards and upwards Seamus ye boy ye.

Are Armagh playing against the breeze?

Irish News columnist and Portadown man Newton Emerson is on holiday, so who do they get in to replace him? Richhill man Peter Cardwell. (Maybe this should be in the County Armagh board page.)

I really like Newton's column and find him balanced and insightful. But Cardwell is a right wing, reform loving, racist bigot cnut and fair play to the Irish News for having him step in for Newton. The IN are not afraid to push boundaries.

True, Jarlath hasn't been great.
I think that's being kind. A lot of people confused his ability as an orator with potential ability to run the Association. He's not done yet but a couple of big speeches in HQ and the 2 pointer wouldn't be much of a legacy. Unfortunately for him most of his headlines were for sticking his nose into Rory Gallagher's business, and more recently backing Allianz.

Ah you just can't please everyone.
Did he please anyone though?

It is not in our nature to post 'great work' on a message board.
It inin our nature to post 'terrible work!' on a message board.
