Quote from: PMG1 on Today at 05:48:30 PMWhat happened Ruairi Canavan?
With the greatest respect, when have you actually seen him play well? Apart form the odd YouTube clip. He has done nothing for tyrone nor ballygawley sports group inc. Orourke seems to have completely lost the run of himself and the panel
He did kick a couple of nice scores before went off certainly wasn't the biggest issue Tyrone had today.

Dublin able to score at will, lack of intensity all over the pitch.

Tyrone fought back gallantly in the last quarter at one stage that looked as though was going to be very embarrassing. Alot of basic errors in the game and very vulnerable at the back. Very difficult to see what their best 15 looks like with only one game to go before championship.

Ethan Jordan surely has start in championship only real two points threat Tyrone seem have?

Darragh Canavan on was the trip away all made up?

That will 100% not be the team that starts, McMullan will play (hopefully in the forward line) and Duffy likely start ahead of O'Brien.
Yeah would say so. Maybe one or two changes to the bench as well.
Here's hoping! Would really like see Grugan get some minutes as his decision making is generally excellent and one of the areas that we have fell short over the whole league campaign. Be interesting to see what Forker's role in the team is as he has had little  involvement since the change of the rules and is another year older.

Quote from: Jim Bob on March 11, 2026, 10:22:53 PMReality is arsenal have not been on fire since Xmas.
They could well go on to win the league cos city no big shake really but the champions league ? Not a hope !!
I agree they have a couple of penalty kicks to get to semi final, think they will struggle over two legs when they eventually meet a decent side in knockout. The league will take alot out of the players mentally also.

Would be good for them to win the league cup as would take some pressure off internally while trying chase other three trophies down.

For all the money Chelsea spend would they not be better investing in a decent keeper? They brought Sanchez in who was surplus to requirements at Brighton and the Jorgenson lad hasn't covered himself in glory tonight. They won't be competing for the top honours until that is addressed.

Pep got that badly wrong going for such attacking line up. Savinho starting ahead of Cherki was another strange selection, Cherki a fine player who should be getting more minutes.

Quote from: tonto1888 on March 10, 2026, 10:12:13 AMFans have ran onto pitches to celebrate last minute winners etc for many years and nothing like Sunday happened. Celtic fans have done it many times. So have fans from other clubs. What made Sunday different
Can't recall too many games in the Premier League where fans have ran onto the pitch in big derbies in the recent past? If Celtic have done it many times, then perhaps the issue should have been addressed earlier with their fan base? Players coming onto the pitch is wrong and can cause issues, you don't know what type of headbanger is being allowed onto the pitch. (Them not knowing that running onto the pitch isn't appropriate conduct would already raise the question as to how sane the individual is)

Given the obvious hatred between the two teams and their respective fanbases it was obviously going to antagonise Rangers supporters, who's behaviour also left alot to be desired.

Would the Celtic supporters have ran onto the pitch if they beat Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen on penalties, I would highly doubt it.

You wouldn't see that in the Premier League as it's a tourist league with half and half scarves worn by the fans.
As pointed out by others Rangers thought they had scored but turned out to be a hand ball and their fans spilled out in wild celebrations but Celtic fans didn't retaliate. There are too many times to mention where teams have scored last minute winners in Scotland and the fans have spilled out onto the pitch around the goal mouth to celebrate. That includes Hibs, Hearts and others and not just the big two.

Or maybe the crowds know how to behave themselves a little better in 2026?

If fans are continually coming onto the pitch that's a wider issue for the SPL to deal with.  Is there going to any admission that Celtic fans were in the wrong or just continual blaming of Rangers supporters? Fair play to all those Celtic fans for staying in their seats after Rangers scored  ::)

Quote from: illdecide on March 09, 2026, 10:37:09 AMWhat a game of football yesterday, probably the worst standard of football I've ever witnessed. Rangers couldn't beat that Celtic team say it all, the lack of quality is alarming. There a lad came on for Celtic "Mvuka" who if he turned up at the local park for a game wouldn't get picked and i'm talking about jumpers for goal posts here...SHOCKING.
As for the aftermath...Celtic fans did trash their stand and did spill out onto the pitch which is unacceptable and it's really difficult to stamp out them wee neds from society as they're everywhere, Celtic will hammer them and you will not see the Green Brigade back at CP.
As for the Sevco support...they invaded the pitch to attack and fight and was the only thought on their minds, the attacked Celtic staff and players and ran the full length of the pitch to confront and fight. There is a vast difference in what happened but the picture painted this morning is it all came from Celtic and followed by Rangers...Is that how you all seen it or have i the green tinted glasses on.

You have the green tinted glasses on Im afraid.
Away end was wrecked, it'll cost a fortune to paint over the "66 mushy peas" grafatti everywhere.
Both clubs need to take a zero policy to this crap and hand out bans.

Congratulations on the game.

Well i clearly did point out Celtic fans trashed their stand and went onto the pitch to celebrate which is not allowed so a clear breach of the rules.
I just can't get into my head why people are comparing like for like when Celtic fans with the euphoria of winning ran onto the pitch to celebrate in the heat of the moment and get selfies with players is the same as Sevco leaving their end and running the full length of the pitch masked up looking for a fight...How is that the same?. (not directed at you REDhand)
I go the games and I can see Celtic have their fair share of wee pricks in their support so it's not just them'uns but in this case there is a clear difference...The video shows the line of Police around the 18 yard box and Sevco fans at the Police throwing fireworks into Celtic fans at the Celtic end...does it need any further words?.
You seem to be missing the point that running onto the pitch has escalated the situation. Why not celebrate in the stands with your fellow supporters? Why did they need to run onto the pitch? The behaviour from the Rangers supporters was unacceptable also and both clubs should be punished accordingly.  A shame for supporters on both sides who are genuine football fans that there likely be no away fans at either game as adds to the atmosphere.

Quote from: AustinPowers on March 09, 2026, 11:21:19 AMRead an article yesterday about a journalist who  interviewed him.  Couple of things didn't seem right  about what Huntly  said . It  was him who sussed it out

Huntly said he  had taken the dog for a walk, and was washing it front of house, when he met the  girls walked  by. He said the girls only  asked about  the girlfriend (who was their teaching asst). He found it strange two little girls would see a man washing a big fluffy dog , and not   mention  it or ask it's name etc.

Second thing was  he said was he  knew how the girls would react  if they came across a  person  who  tried to kidnap them.  But he  wasn't at their school, didn't know the girls' character , so why would he have known this .

Journalist  knew things didn't add up , and  phoned the  police, and he was arrested.

There was reports in loads of places  around Britain  and Ireland The girlfriend was  being  relocated. Heard Coleraine  mentioned once. Surely wherever  she is , she'd be recognised with a new haircut  or glasses. She'd need a bit  of surgery to hide in the shadows.
Was a three part documentary Maxine on channel 5 a few years ago in relation to the case. Have saw a few documentaries in the past relating to the terrible crime and that reporter was very heavily involved in. (Can picture his face but cant recall name)

I think for a female would certainly be easier to disguise yourself over the course of time.
