Quote from: AustinPowers on Today at 05:41:45 PMWhat is it about  Sean Cavanagh and his snide  comments?

A dose of a pundit

Finally got to Lee Keegan in the end, rather snide throughout, mission accomplished

Quote from: marty34 on June 12, 2026, 06:05:56 PMHow many league games have Tyrone club players played this year?

Tonught is the third

That is a total joke for club players.

Almost in mid-June and only 3 games played.

Those 3 have been in the last 8 days as well. Only started a week ago yesterday.

That's a complete joke. I don't know which is worse.

1. Club players only having played 2/3 league games.

2. Playing 3 games in 8 days.

WTF is going on in Tyrone club circles that they're allowing this to happen?

They've probably been training since December. I understand that all leagues are a bit wishy washy these days.

County Board top brass fucked it

Great show! Complete surprise as well when I watched the first season but I was hooked.

I can't stand Clarkson but I do enjoy this.

The recent episode on the tech employed by Belgian and Dutch farmers was mind blowing, full kudos to them

Hope the away teams is a bag of shite with cold showers in keeping with longstanding pure awkwardness and gaining an edge in our hallowed circles

Quote from: Cunny Funt on June 05, 2026, 12:45:27 PMSums up Cavan well at the moment.

QuoteCavan increasingly resembles the sick patient who insists there is nothing wrong, refuses to visit the doctor and becomes angry at anyone who points out the symptoms.

The entered the Leinster Junior Inter County Championship for years, taking great delight in winning the All-Ireland Junior in 2014, same as their club scene, dying to waltz the All-Ireland Junior and novice club football and hurling scenes, looking the easy road, nothing sums Cavan up better

The referee gave some incredibly soft calls to PSG throughout the game, and blowing up for half time when Arsenal had a corner was ridiculous

PSG the better team, Arsenal v stout but papering over cracks at left wing and up front

Arsenal come a long way since the latter half of the Wenger era with a ton of misfits scrambling for 4th on the cheap, a lot of credit due to Arteta but he needs to evolve the team now to a more forward thinking outfit

Hope they sign Nico Williams this summer, would sort the left wing for years to come

The Kluivert/Van Nistelrooy comparison is an interesting timeline

Born on the same day, Kluivert burst on the scene scoring in the CL final at 18 and leading the line for the Dutch in Euro 96 and France 98 while RVN was struggling to break through at provincial level as a midfielder

01/02 RVN was the coming man, by 03/04 Kluivert was washed up while Ruud got his runout for Real and an Indian summer in Germany

Aye something amiss the Dutch don't have any interesting forward players in the current setup

As for Italy, kinda fubar whats gone on there, their last WC game being 2014

If only Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had been fed cheese sandwiches like the men of Eire

The greatest trick the FAI ever pulled was convincing the world they didn't have a plan

Still the one that got away

Be lovely to slay 2 Death Stars in the same month

I'm feeling a Barca/AC Milan 1994 dynamic

Can't wait

Quote from: johnnycool on May 28, 2026, 11:18:29 AMPSG are raging hot favourites I'd have thought, but you'd have to give Arsenal a smidgen of hope.

If it's a borefest, then Arsenal could sneak it with a corner or long throw but European referees are more inclined to give frees for the barging and bolloxing about.

Is Ben White ready to get turned inside out?  ;D

White burst the knee and is out for the foreseeable, ironically in last years semi final Kvaratskhelia tore Timber a new one and it was White who came on and shut him down

Gyökeres has to start ahead of Havertz for me, Havertz ambles about, at least Gyok will burst he's ballix and keep the 2 PGC centre halves occupied

Wrt Arsenal PSG, styles make fights, there was nothing between the sides last year, very happy going in as underdogs, I feel a watershed moment coming on Saturday akin to Capellos Milan

Bad enough  the game stopping for the city team to give  their players a guard off the pitch , but Villa  players joining in as  well.

What  the  actual f**k?

Real Madrid did it on Saturday to give Dani Carvajal a send off, so obvs the Prem had to hop on for likes and shares

Happened previously under Luis Enrique (Euro 2021), Carvajal was injured, Sergio Ramos was the controversial one, 35 at the time and also injury prone
