Dunloy played with freedom and just went at it.  Football's a simple game.  Most of the top teams are over-coached, to their detriment, St Brigid's a classic example. If any of them just cheer up and enjoy playing fast attacking football they'll do well.

To be fair the Cathair Bheal Feirste team playing in A Colleges competitions, and holding their own it would seem, is a green shoot.

After falling into Div 4 in 2020 Louth GAA implemented a strategic overhaul involving elite coaching, administrative reform and major infrastructure investment. One of the items focused on was strategic planning, with a review to streamline player pathways, improve retention in Urban clubs and enhance commercial self sufficiency through initiatives like An Lu.
Instead of all the money spent on big name managers like Davy Fitz (im sure Doran quite expensive also) could we not focus on the above?

I still don't get where people are coming from.  We've been getting hammered at underage for many a year. Dunloy decided to give football a rattle and won the senior championship.  We don't have a stadium. There is zero buzz around the county. We're solidly Division Four and that's the reality.

As an ordinary Joe Public , I do despair at the like of Ulster Hospitality calling the shots , & John O'Dowd folding. E.g Galgorm Group made a £8 million profit on turnover of £32 million but cried about having  tp pay £800k extra in rates. I appreciate they are a major employer but lift the load. I'm sure it is tight in other businesses , but this type of thing needs called out.

Galgorm group would be grand, it's the local pub struggling that would be finished with the new rates hike. Margins are tight enough as it is.

And how big John didn't realise this is a mystery to me.
As for Hospitality Ulster, they sponsor every DUP dinner they can get their hands on and persuaded Lyons to retain the closed shop for pub licenses, even though the recommendation was to free it up.
