Sorkin's new show The Newsroom starts on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday night. Have watched the first 2 and it's excellent so far. It has lot's of potential!!
Looking forward to this one. Will try to watch on tv rather than downloading the series as end up blasting through a series and then have nothing to watch!

The Newsroom has potential if it tones things down a bit. There are only so many lectures in morality that you can cram into an episode without starting to piss people off.
Hmmm if it is big on liberal brow-beating I might only see one episode!

I watched it last night. It wasn't too bad, probably done enough to keep me watching for a few more episodes

Agreed. Yer woman the producer is doing my head in with her overacting. Where did the big reviews from the states come from? is there something ahead?

I've watched the first three series of Breaking Bad over the last few weeks and I'm astounded by how good it is. I can't think of any drama, not even the Sopranos, that's ever made me react, as this did after more than one episode, like you do after seeing something amazing in sport like Bolt, or Bob Beamon's incredible jump, or Ali-Frazier, where you sit up straight when it's over and just go "WOW!"
