Agreed, even the script is excellent. Grace (JP's downtrodden wife) in retort to her sister's angst against JP, ' But I haven't had to take out the rubbish in 15 years'. The interaction between the sisters was priceless, perfect timing. Next on my list is a rewatch of The Clan, the original drama

Started Godfathers of Harlem. Like Whittaker, so hoping for good things. Started well enough. Worth persisting with?

Yep. It's excellent.

The Daryl Dixon Walking Dead 6 part series was actually decent.

Dear Child is well worth a watch, 6 episodes, you'll find you will binge them. Germany made and will be dubbed on Netflix but if you can get over that I would highly recommend.
2007  2008 & 2009 Fantasy Golf Winner
(A legitimately held title unlike Dinny's)

Documentary on BBC - The Union (UK), very interesting.

Also caught an old Rory Stewart documentary called Middleland, a stretch of land in North England / Southern Scotland, that was really fascinating - could have been another country in GB but for the Romans/ Hadrian's wall is his premise.

Given the hype, have to say I'm very disappointed in Top Boy so far. One and a half series to go.

A poor imitation (and at times complete rip off) of the wire. Full of plot holes and continuity errors, with hammy writing to boot.

Some good acting though.

4 episodes into this (subtitles, f**k that dubbing shite), it is really excellent so far, I'm hoping the finish doesn't let it down.

Good show alright, well worth a watch.

I could have put this in the WTF thread.

Last Stop Larrimah - crazy crazy show - well worth 2 odd hours of your time

Those wee towns in the outback are just fecked up... Wouldn't be fond of her pie though

Absolutely brilliant.

Just finished All the Light we Cannot See on Netflix and really enjoyed it.

Short too only 4 episodes!

Would highly recommend watching the South Park Panderverse Special. Hilariously accurate assessment of the current cultural debate.
