Interesting.
I would have associated that sort of rigidness with Cheddar's time, and not with Brennan's time (Corcoran was a key player then?).

Kilkenny look really uncomfortable playing short the last few years, despite their obviously high skill levels.

Who is the official Head Coach at the moment?

Whatever about the strength of the opposition Laois did impress in the first half. I'm not a huge fan of the modern passing game but Laois seemed to have adapted to this style as all the top counties have. The passing and first touch in the first half was very good - the second half not quite as good but it was more of a friendly match at that stage.
