GAA Discussion / Re: NFL Division 2 - 2026

Quote from: cavanmaniac on March 11, 2026, 09:48:01 PMWouldn't be overly confident of Cavan beating Offaly. Under heavy pressure for points, and widely expected to win at the same time, is precisely the wrong sort of psychological cocktail for these fainthearts, especially as Offaly are at home with nothing to lose and a desperate need to inject something ahead of the championship. None of the three possible results from this game would surprise me, put it that way.

From the team I saw against Derry I would say Offaly are a low Div 3 side. Yes they did well last year and they are missing a lot of men but their current level would have them relegated in Division 3 in my opinion.

I have no idea how Ireland will be able to turn this scrum around for next year!!

Fairly average performance this evening but Wales didn't give an inch to be fair to them.

Not getting things all our own way here started well but started throwing the ball around too much and Wales are gaining in confidence!

Quote from: Orior on March 06, 2026, 06:56:29 PMFor you IT folk of a certain vintage, Blackberry is quite good.

I loved it, very funny and interesting even though it's loosely based on the true story.

Quote from: Baile BrigĂn 2 on March 05, 2026, 07:14:13 PMIf you are on the radio defending your oil industry and deny price gouging, to then go on and describe your behaviour as textbook gouging, you shouldn't have been let on.

What a p***k "had on heart nobody is gouging"

Then in the next sentence says some companies put their price way up to discourage people from ordering! The definition of gaslighting.

Quote from: Mario on March 02, 2026, 02:10:45 PMI see the Louth game is sold out already

Yeah, none available. Does anyone know what the capacity of Ardee is?
2,800 hardly fit for a county game. I presume it's all intentional by Louth. Won't be many Derry fans at it.

Can't blame them really although I just got the green light to head down and now I can't get a fecking ticket!!
