Quote from: Ghost on April 20, 2024, 10:54:08 PMHard to remember a team dropping as many short in a single game as Derry did today. Midfield was dominated when the game really mattered too.

All round the team looked fatigued (possibly disinterested) and Donegal brought a greater intensity to the game.

And no mention of the bombscare keeper.

Think that speaks for itself. A disaster all round. Can't believe they persisted with it after the 1st let alone the 2nd.

3rd?

Well doing it after the 2nd time obviously led to it happening the 3rd time...

When was Derry's training camp?

The worst thing the ref done was ignore a clear head clash right in front of his eyes until rangers had finished their attack. Absolutely scandalous I thought.

Quote from: bennydorano on April 07, 2024, 02:01:51 PM2nd & 3rd Rangers goals from 2 celtic mistakes, a McGregor miss pass and Yang standing off b4 the shot (tho think he might have got his feet caught under him).

Don't watch an awful lot of Celtic but thought Yang was very poor. Too easily pushed off the ball.

Is Sutton a bit over the top with his analysis there?

Could Fenton's red not have been taken back for a free to Derry or would it have to have been called at the time?

Harsh free but Gilmore coughing up possession there is criminal.

Ten Hag is one of the most negative managers in the league. He relies on moments of individual brilliance or something off the cuff to nick him a goal and then tries to defend it. No patterns of plays, just send the players out and hope for the best.

It was the same last season, Utd were a brutal watch for the majority of games. Only difference was he had Rashford's brilliance to carry them.

Shocking stuff last night. If Utd had taken 3 points last night it would have been one of the biggest robberies since Brentford at Old Trafford.

Performances like that are hardly going to convince the INEOS crowd that ETH is the man to take the thing forward.

I think Diallo getting sent off makes it even more memorable

Quote from: Ghost on March 17, 2024, 06:33:29 PMShould Klopp have taken Salah off? Was it over confidence or do his minutes need managed? Genuine question. I know when it went 2-2 I was glad he was off.

Salah was poor
He gave the ball
Away and wrong decisions galore, having said that when I seen gapko coming on I thought "well that's even worse"

Maybe wasn't his best game but he's always capable of doing something from nowhere.

Some game. Can't believe Klopp took Salah more or less once Lindelof was moved to LB. From 2-2 I think Utd deserved it, seemed to be the better team. Liverpool looked tired.
