In hurling *ulster* school teams are in the B competition.

Our footballers are getting routinely beaten by a lot in the minors. It can't be doing much for an incentive of playing county.

Division 1 has been like this for years. Teams who have enough points on the board are completely safe and don't care much about winning it as one eye on championship so take their foot off the gas. It's kind of the opposite in division 4 with only promotion mattering after a while.

2 and 3 are the only ones with everyone playing to the end.

The most suitable player we have physically is Bohill. I don't think he's our most skilful but he definitely has attributes which a lot of other county teams possess and we don't seem to. I don't think we have loads of player that kind of physical size etc about our county.

McManus was that kind of physicality too obviously but that ship has sailed.

Hmm do you put everything "through our own processes" jarlath?

There's a big shift to come yet in Uk politics. There is every chance reform will get in and that will be an absolute shit show.

Yeah they will be back longer term but I don't think the current leadership will bring them there. Big changes needed.

It kind of depends where reform etc go I think too.

I would agree with everything except the tories regrouping. They appear to be done.

Surely as good as he is he has to drop off pace wise etc. at some point...

Also I still would say that Cargin would be decent favourites. With Dunloy I would say it's starting to sting on the hurling front because they really should be winning antrim and in addition teams will be more aware of their tactics now too.

I wouldn't see St Brigids or Portglenone as winning it tbh. (Don't mind on either front but really from an outside looking in perspective both would seem a good bit off unless something drastic changes). Though I guess I would have said the same about Dunloy last year but I really think it would be a big surprise on either and Creggan looked last year to have dropped off a bit.
