This tournament will break all records for red cards. England coped very well at 14 though. They kept it tight and picked off the points.

Could have been better, could have been worse.

Can we get them beheaded out there instead of extradited back to Ireland?

Make sure it is adjustable, whatever brand you pick.

Can Galway keep brushing serious incidents like this under the carpet?
In the past there wasn't so many cameras and social media, so when Joe Canning was stamped in the face in 2006 it wasn't captured. When Johnny Maher went on the rampage about 10 years ago there was a bit more coverage but I think he still got away with it.

Phone use while driving has to be a factor. I see tons of people looking down at their phones while driving. It's a hard one to prove though in the event of an accident.

Where are lads getting money to pay for cocaine? It's an expensive habit and we're in a cost of living crisis.

Limerick should win but some day soon they're going to fall off the cliff. Very hard to keep coming back every year with mainly the same cast.

What is the big deal about Marty getting a motor off Renault?
I don't see what the fuss is about.

At least they've moved on from "but gah" to "but horses and dogs".

GAA Discussion / Re: Teddy McCarthy

Teddy always struck me as a decent character. Hard-headed but decent.
He stuck to his guns when he had a run in with some dogsbodies outside Croke Park a few years ago.
He was meant to be in the half time presentation but after being messed around at the turnstiles, he tore up his ticket and turned for home.

Trying to get to it.

General discussion / Re: Is it soccer or football ?

Soccer, all day long. I've come across few Dublin soccer heads who get upset when you don't call it football though.
In England they've turned against the word in recent years because they now think it's an Americanism.

Right ould spat goin on on twitter about Cross. Seems to coming from Aaron cunnigham. What's goin on?

Crossmaglen committee informed Cross management, that Clarke should be barred from playing, while being on Newry City soccer books.

Disgraceful actions from the club.
Is there any truth to this?

True enough Bunker but I'd say a lot less neutrals go to games any more
People pack out soccer stadiums to watch the players stroll around and roll the ball back and forth to each other for 90 minutes.
