Quote from: SaffronSports on May 15, 2026, 10:22:15 AMTough ould game tomorrow, must win to complete the job. Crowd will no doubt create a brilliant atmosphere and Celtic have shown multiple times this season that they never give up. I'd be delighted to get over the line but once full time goes in the Scottish Cup final next week, Operation 2026/27 has to begin. There's a serious amount of players not fit to wear the jersey so the management needs to be appointed asap and there needs to be a good clear out of those that aren't good enough and those that don't want to be there. I'm sick of watching Celtic scramble around for loans at the end of August. Get the business done early.

There is the small issue about who will be the manager. Will MON want to give it another year or will they be looking for some other up and coming manager with fresh ideas just like Nancy ;D

IF MON wanted another year, I'd absolutely let him stay, especially if things go well tomorrow. The squad is thin and if he can get us back to the top despite the balls up with Nancy, he can do as he wants.

The most important thing for me is some sort of proper scouting network. Signings have been poor of late.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on May 14, 2026, 08:03:27 AMThe simple question would be, on the final day would the Celtic fans be happy to give that type of 'handball' away to Hearts to win the title?

I don't think they'd be all on here claiming it was a handball and fair play to the ref for spotting it

I think id be asking who our defender was trying to salute whilst heading a ball? Why is his hand up there? Pure stupidity.

4 penalties in one. 2 lads man handling Trusty including a 2 handed shove in the back while another hands the ball while elbowing Trusty in the head. Quit the anti-Celtic edginess lads, makes you look like wankers.

Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on May 12, 2026, 12:15:04 PMFirst Renshaws, now this. Don't know how much more of this I can take

Mornings after this would have been perfect for it!

By time I got up she was Countdown time 😆

Wait did we live together on University street? Do you support Everton and could be found in your rockin chair with a bowl of tomato soup and half a loaf of Ormo white for your breakfast and a can of Tennents?

Lolol no. But I like the sound of this guy we could've been friends

Fifteen to One era also now we're at it
William G. Stewart was the boss. 15-1 was the best quiz going!

Boy I know went on it and actually won his episode but score was too low to reach the final. He said he got a bit nervous and the Norway flag appeared on a monitor near him and he was half rubbing the hands together saying I hope I get that one. Question came up, what flag is this? He said Denmark. Said he has no idea how or why but just blanked out with the nerves.

I couldn't see it being popular. You already hear some people give off about the long trips down to the Ards Peninsula.

Is it just me or is this 16team league a total anti climax. No team bar Creggan seems to be signalling anything productive. Alot going through the emotions and very little atmosphere in any of the games iv watched. Ud be better watching club football in Tyrone, Derrry or Down until after the July Holidays

Same as the hurling thread.

Complete tripe, with some of the worst acting you will see.
That advice is several weeks too late for me  ;D

That song they used 4 times every episode done my head in.

Yang has been pretty good this year. It feels like MON is shuffling a few lads he doesn't really have faith in as the 11th man. Tounekti seems to make an impression off the bench as does Jamesy. McCowan gave away the ball for the goal then committed the cardinal sin of throwing the arms up instead of chasing the ball he lost but he did make a clinker of a pass for the equaliser.

All that matters is getting a win tomorrow night. Tough, tough game and I am extremely uncomfortable with talk of Saturday before Saturday actually matters.

I'm not sure it's the grounds that create an atmosphere.
