First I ever heard of it so did have a look at it. Basically saying he was a chef and Nicole asked him to cook dinner for the family that night then decided to go out to eat so he killed them.

How do we know she was fine?  The process she has gone through is the exact same process any defendant would have gone through if there were concerns over their fitness to give instructions.

Would there be many examples of working class people going down this path? That's ultimately what people will see this as. Someone of status getting what they would deem as preferential treatment.

Absolutely there's plenty at an estimate of say between 5 and 10% of cases. They just don't tend to attract press coverage.

I have 6 such cases at the moment

All with the same process as Lady Donaldson went through with many of the same experts and similar concerns.

I understand the optics are bad. I think that's a combination of a number of factors. Poor reporting, social media, human nature, a lack of education on actual procedures etc to name just a few of those.

Even then 5% or 10% would be very low I would imagine if you put that up against the percentage of people from the working classes going through the courts.

Quote from: Main Street on Today at 01:28:45 PMIf it's MON et al,, I doubt the management 'team'  will tolerate the existing state of affairs around the targeting of players and the tortuous negotiation processes.  Somebody new coming in might be fobbed off with the usual guff.

I can't see O'Neill doing another full season. Where is the incentive for him, came back won the title, if he wins the cup walks off into the sunset as a hero. Stays and there is a possibility of tarnishing his legacy.

Plenty of boys struggle to get that buzz elsewhere in life. Maybe enjoys working around a younger group and what else would he do? Talk shit on the radio? He's always come across as a man who doesn't enjoy sitting on his arse to me.

Quote from: Puckoon on May 20, 2026, 04:14:10 PMXhaka lost the head a few times during one of the melt down seasons, seemed more interested in getting stuck into the opposition needlessly than leading the team - but yes what a redemption arc and a great player for Arsenal, and now Sunderland.

Who is your current favourite player?

For me, Calafiori followed by Super Leandro.

His Leverkusen stint was v impressive, still remember his performance against France at Euros in 2021 as well, probably the reason he was retained at that time

Current fave, in recent weeks Rice, playing like a man possessed, honourable mention to Gabriel who clearly wants the big wins so bad and is a total beast who doesn't have to resort to dirtbag tactics the like of Sergio Ramos, has also massively improved his ball playing game to cement his place in the team

In the final third, a certain lack of pzazz, ultimately the league was won in the transfer window with the purchasing of Eze and Gyökeres, interesting to see if he tries to land a whale in the summer to kick on, would need to be left wing or centre forward, maybe Mbappe if Jose fucks him out

Mbappe woule never work under Arteta.

On what planet can Arsenal afford him though? Wages alone are three times their highest earner.

He is a player Real won't easily shift in general.

I think Mbappe would go to Saudi for money over one of the big leagues for glory if he leaves Madrid.

Quote from: SaffronSports on Today at 11:56:19 AMEverton did well to hold on to Seamus. Seemed every year United were linked with him and Baines.
Think the leg break came at a bad time for him in terms of getting that big move.

He's the sort of fella I don't even know if he would have gone. Proper old school loyalty.

Looks like it will. I don't care much about the spying but enjoying it happening to that Harwood-Bellis guy. Came across as a p***k a few times during the semi-final.

I genuinely would be surprised if O'Neill doesn't stay on another year

From a Leeds perspective, we couldn't lay a glove on Arsenal. Smashed home and away. Def best team we played this year.

Quote from: Main Street on May 19, 2026, 02:39:25 PMI don't recognise some of them names in Illdecide's list,

Welsh has found a new home, we could call it a happy divorce.
I'm assuming MON will be in charge.

McCowan and Scales are already signed up.

Is Trusty gone? beyond repair? He's had 3 shaky games for sure.
Arajuo had hamstring related surgery in 2024, but has been out for lengthy spells each year since. That's a major issue to be considered seeing as the surgery had no effect.

Saracchi, would take him with one working leg.

Nygryn, MON would keep him on I think, but just in case, here's hoping he has a rip roaring world cup

Kelechi, sign him up, he looked fit enough these past two games and shows more with each game.

Sorry, Trusty is not gone. Probably should just have said "Sell" beside him.
I meant is Trusty 'gone' in regards to your calculations for next season.

Tá, I believe Celtic were offered £10m or £12m for Trusty in January. If that is the case and the same club are still interested I would sell him in a heart beat. TBH for me there is no one I wouldn't sell if I got the right money for, everyone has their price and as much as you need stability around your club with a core group any player will try and force a move out if and when is suits and the kissing of the badge means nowt to me.

The issue with this is Celtic have been so poor in getting transfers across the line so that 12m be useless.

Quote from: JimStynes on May 19, 2026, 11:34:45 AMCeltic need serious money spent and a complete rebuild is needed. There's about 15 new players needed. It's vital a goal scorer or 3 comes in through the door when Maeda heads on.

K Schmeichel - Gone
Trustuy - Gone
CCV - Think we should sell but would be happy enough if he stays
Araujo - Sign him up as back up to Johnston, if Johnston is sold then he's an essential signing
Saracchi - get him signed up ASAP
B Arthur - back to his parent club
Nygren - sell
Alex the Ox - let him go
Engels - Sell and get the doe
P Bernardo - Sell
Hatate - Sell
J Adamu - rocket ship back to his parent club
Balikwisha - Sell
Bit Tomas Cvancara - ship back to parent club
Yang - I'd keep but wouldn't lose any sleep if he's sold
Iheanacho - I'd keep for another season as a back up to new striker but pay as you play, fitness for a 29 year old is shocking.
Osman - has a bright future at Celtic. How did BR not even give that lad a place on the bench?. WTF
Tounekti - if we got a good figure for him i'd sell but might be a decent back up to Jota if he ever gets fit. Wouldn't lose sleep if he's sold.
Joel Mvuka - This one's a heart breaker for me as it looks like he'll leave and go back to his parent club, the Celtic fans will be devestated but just like the King of Kings Larsson eventually they leave you for someone else.
Maeda - Sell, he wants to go and he has deserved his move. Best of luck kid.
Inamura - Sell
Nawrocki - Sell (i think)
Welsh - Sell
Montgomery - Sell
Odin Holm - Sell
Luis Palma - Sell (although i do think he has something but his attitude may not be the best)
Shin Yamada - Sell
Johnny Kenny - Sell, but there's something about him that could try him for one more year and then cut him off if the improvement isn't substantial.

That is some list of players without naming the core players like...
Forrest
McGregor
Jota
Scales
Sinisalo & Doohan
Ali Johnston
Dane Murray
Colby Donavan
Anto Ralston
KT
Luke McCowan - (Only makes the cut for being Scottish)

We playing 5 a side next year?

The battle for third place in both of those senior groups should be interesting.

Intermediate has quarterfinals this year believe

Any idea how many teams involved? Is it 8 or one of those set ups where group winner goes straight to sf and 2nd/3rd into a qf like other comps?

Oisins beat Naomh Eanna a few weeks ago and from what i heard NE had a few of their county lads so id think they will have a chance in that one.

Id fancy Rossa to miss out in Group 1 but plenty of time before it starts for opinions to change.
