Very sad news - seemed to be a genuine and straightforward fellow.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Sincere condolences to the family of Farr.  One of the great posters here and I can go back to his pre Farrandelin days when he was Cnoc Mór! Like many he always feared the worst and hoped for the best when Mayo were playing. Above all he was courteous, good humoured and well informed (I think he won the Gaaboard championship prediction competition last year).

The regular and long serving posters here feel like part of one's family and like another Mayo poster that we lost not the long ago (Lar Naparka) Farr will be missed.  Clearly a young man with a young family his death is a huge loss to all his family and those who knew and loved him.

RIP Farr

The proper name of the club I see is Currin Sons of Saint Patrick! Are their ladies team "Daughters of Saint Patrick" ? I also see it is a very old club going right back to the founding of the GAA.

Maybe the deep history does not cut any ice with Jack.

David Moran has retired.
His display in Limerick in 14 v Mayo was awsome.
Rare thing to say about a Kerry player but I almost think he was underrated. Brilliant player.

👍 Fully agree.

Very sad news.  Paudie was an institution in Cork GAA circles and his commentaries were memorable. Probably the best known and loved Kerry man in Cork. Condolences to all his family - you will be missed Paudie.
