The team that finished bottom of Div 1 on 0 points stayed up and the team that topped Div 2 unbeaten didn't get up.

In Division 2 Killygarry didn't lose a game all regular league, yet got suckered with 2 late goals to lose the semi, and didn't get promoted.

In Division 1, Lacken conceded a game to Castlerahan, so Knockbride, Ballyhaise, and Castlerahan ended up level on 9 points each. Points difference then couldn't be used to determine who plays who as head to head also couldn't be used. It meant Knockbride needed to play Castlerahan, and Knockbride play Ballyhaise to determine placings and only then could they play the 2 relegation playoff games.

Then Castlerahan played Knockbride again, and despite Knockbride beating them 2 previous times (including the playoff for a playoff a few weeks ago), Castlerahan won and Knockbride go down.

Then Ballyhaise play Lacken, who have been waiting in the long grass while the above farce played out. Lacken win meaning they lost all 12 League games, but still get a chance to win one playoff game to stay up.

So joke stuff. If a team finish top, they should be promoted, if a team finishes bottom they should get relegation. Sort out playoffs for last spot to promote/relegate but this thing was absolutely farcical
