No talk about this famous old competition which starts on Saturday.
London v Rhubarbs
NY v Ros
Sligo v Leitrim.

Semis - Galway v Sligo/Leitrim,
Winners of the overseas games.

Barring a major upset Galway in the Final v more than likely Rhubarbs.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

So Galway to get a home pairing in the Sam Maguire they dont have to play a team in Division 1/2. Sounds about right!

Sounds like Roscommon's trip to New York could be the last of any Connacht county.

Up for review/discussion after Sunday.  Looks like the options are

New York traveling to Connacht venues as they did in 1999,00,01.

Tailteann Cup only for New York

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

It'd be a real shame as it's bound to be a serious few days craic and all but sounds like the cost is mental.

They should let every county have a go at going to London and New York. Always great occasions for Connacht teams. Interesting how against it the Connacht Council are all of a sudden. I wonder if the €50,000 grant towards it is now needed to strap down the big white tent in Bekan lest the next bad storm makes off with it again.

I'd expect the Insurance on it has gone up considerably!
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.
