Quote from: Truthsayer on November 26, 2025, 01:14:23 PMCan't imagine the McKenna Cup brings in much money. A good way to bring new players into inter-county football and as said much better than in-house games.

It's been estimated that the decision to scrap the McKenna Cup last year cost the Ulster Council in the region of €340,000

Likely Tyrone support was the highest proportion of that figure.

It would be the pinnacle of Prunty's career. Draining the pitch that couldn't be drained.

Quote from: Brendan on November 22, 2025, 05:11:15 PMWas always madness to keep throwing hundreds of millions at the forward line when the defensive issues were clear for all to see, only a few years ago they made the same mistake were lessons not learned then?

They did consider that defensive side with the signings of Frimpong, Leoni and Kerkez.

Just 4 out of the 16 in the play offs will make it.

Ryanair will be bumping up the prices to Warsaw, Cardiff, Prague and Bratislava for 26th March.

Quote from: tyroneStatto on November 15, 2025, 06:22:51 PMClogher surprisingly got it tight today against Donagh. Win AET.
Well done Clogher it's all about getting through to the final, I expect Emyvale to be their opponents though and imagine they will be Clogher's toughest test yet Clonoe's opponents next week play Division 1 football in Cavan if they are at the level of Arva then they shouldn't be taken lightly.
Emyvale v Clogher final
Toughest task to date for clogher
County Vice captain Ryan McAnespie and Karl Gallagher back from AFL to deal with

Clogher and Emyvale would be geographically close together. Just over the mountain as they say in those parts.

Is there a club on the Donegal side of the border that these Urney ones could transfer to?

Quote from: Munchie on November 08, 2025, 07:31:45 AMThis place is a shithole, but it's every inept individual on the hill, in saying that are they that inept, they are making a fortune for themselves and their families and friends, couldn't give a flying one about anyone else, pass no legislation, make no decisions, fix nothing, resolve nothing, invest in nothing and we all vote these wankers in.  Sinn Féin could run tayto packets, ham sandwiches, 3 legged pigs, whatever in Armagh and they would get in and yet they do f**k all.
And voting in an abstentionist MP at every Westminster election. What's the SF logic there in this day & age.

Quote from: NotedObserver on October 31, 2025, 03:36:41 PMTyrone were in the game v Kerry last year. The second half performance was v poor and it wasn't much to do with Clifford. Awful lots to improve and change up

Kerry could and should have been out of sight at half time. Clifford ran a mock in the first half.
The highlight of Clifford's year was scoring 3-03 in Pomeroy on 23rd Feb.

Quote from: From the Bunker on October 19, 2025, 04:24:41 PMIt's also down to Rangers being so bad. A half arsed Celtic with any investment will win the Scottish League. There's no sense of looking over the shoulder. Legacy fans means there will always be support.

Big game at midday tomorrow. If Hearts win at home v Celtic they go 8 points clear.
And will be a genuine threat to win the title with their investment this year.

Noting Dundee lost 2-1 away to Falkirk today. So no big momentum from their shock win v Celtic last Sunday.

I agree, Lough wont be there to just make up the numbers. However, I think Trillick will have too much scoring power. Trillick by two!

If you've lost a final already, then you can lose a second too.

Was at that minor final loss to Meath in 2021. Thinking of those misses at the end will give me a sleepless night.
