...must be Henry McCullough

You can take your Gary Moores, Van the Grumpy Aud Git, SLF, Undertones, Petrols, etc but his man has been there, seen that, done that.

Supported Hendrix, played Woodstock with Joe Cocker, slipped Janis Joplin a length, played with Irvine and Moynihan in Sweeney's Men, played with McCartney in the Wings Showband.

Surely a legend

Listen to his interview with Anderson.

Have to say, wouldn't exactly be a music connoisseur but any time I have seen him play his Blues music in The Empire I have been highly impressed. :)

In terms of influence and impact, no one from the north comes close to Van Morrison. None of the rest of them have produced landmark albums like Astral Weeks or songs like Into The Mystic.

Hardy

Tommy Makem gives him a run for his money, though.

Would have thought that Paul Brady would have to be up there with the most influential musicians to hail from the North.

but seriously I'd go with Gary Moore but he's the only one I have seen live thats been mentioned. Henry McCollough has an impressive CV alright though.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Well I thought you must be confused if you were even putting Rab even in the same league as Henry. But then if you are not a 'connoisseur', what else can we expect.

I can play the skin flute pretty well. Can I nominate myself?
