I think it says a lot for the Kerry football mentality as they would be prepared to sacrifice the most precocious talent in the game for a catch and kick footballer.  Goochs career has been the biggest victim of this unsporting wit it or bin it type of football from Kerry.

yes, well we are finally getting somewhere with you. Admitting that McConnell gouged Cooper is the first step to admitting you support the team that introduced these type of cheating antics to the GAA.

Cooper's the best footballer that I've watched in the flesh. In the Dr. Crokes club final last year he was picking out passes that nobody in the crowd (with the benefit of a plan view of the pitch) could see. We'd love to have him up in Donegal.

Aye, I suppose we could fit him in. Sure we are flat out brining on the Kilkenny hurlers with this "twinning" thing so we may as well teal the Gooch something  ;)

That was a long rest Cooper took alright, good job the ref was not buying his attempt to get a man sent off. Not sure why he needed to do that, Kerry were 1-2 to 0-1 up at that point.

The whole incident seemed to disrupt Kerry's flow after they'd made a great start, Tyrone took over from there and won out easy enough. There was evidently not a pile wrong with him as when he eventually got up he proceeded to play well scoring 4 points and creating others. Maybe it was his attempt to get a man sent off that cost Kerrry that All-Ireland?
