I thought McGinley explained the mental strength aspect of what he done very well. I don't think we have seen anything like that before, someone mentally collapsing and bringing themselves back. It was truly inspirational stuff.

That's what Laura Davies said. Having finally got over the hump, you'd fancy him to win 5 or 6 more. He'll never face pressure like that again. The next time he doesn't win a major, it won't be massive news that gets pored over and dissected every which way imaginable. Since 2014, with very brief interruptions, outside the majors he has perennially been a top 2 or 3 golfer in the world.
