For the techies out there.

The Mrs wants to watch some missed Celebrity Master Chefs. They are available on BBCi on the interweb. However as we are Dine Site we are blocked.

Is there any way of 'codding' the BBC server by getting my ip address routed through a UK ip address so that she can watch them.

Any help appreciated.

No - it's the BBC iplayer.

I was able to change my ip using one of those ip addresses with my IE7 settings under LAN but I still wasn't able to play the BBC content.

Ah well.

There's some details on it. Very techy though so unless you're well into your computers I'd give it a miss...

I have more or less exhausted all avenues to get a safe proxy server that works

Justin.tv has some sites which are streaming some games online but one of them looks like the guy is streamin directly from a camcorder placed infront of his TV - not the best but better than nothing I suppose.

Setanta looks like the best offer - $150 for the year and watch all the games you want

Try some hidemyip websites might work.  If not get someone to record it from the iplayer and send it to you?

justin.tv had all the games last weekend
