Still doesn't explain why you want to buy a womans car

Funny how those who will never own such a car always refer to it as a hairdressers or woman's car.  Yet would jump at the chance to own such a vehicle if they had the funds or nerve to purchase one.

Over the last ten years I have had two Audi A4's and one Golf Gti believe me if i wanted a TT i would buy one
But if i was given a TT for nothing i wouldn't drive it i would sell it on

Me and the missus looked at one - she thought it was for hairdressers too :P

I went for the A3 option instead, didnt like the TT much - back seat is an afterthought in it.

TT quattros are no use, go for one of the old 2.2 GT Coupes, mean as hell and go like shit off a shovel!

Fair play Laois Lad - despite all the talk of a recession and downturn in the construction industry, as an electrician you can still afford to look down your nose at a high performance German sports car. :P

Hound

Don't listen to the bullshít about hairdressers. There is no way the current TT could be described as remotely feminine, its a super looking car, and the previous models were fine too.

I had a few goes in a '02 TT. I thought it was a great drive, very good acceleration (and it was only the 1.8l, 2 wheel drive), yet still feels very solid, very safe. But I havent driven any other sporty-type cars so have nothing to compare it too.

The new A5 is a cracking looking coupe.

Barney

To say its a woman's car is over the top.

However it is no A5 - class machine, love the lights
